   November 26, 1992

A baby boy was born. But soon after, he was declared dead by the doctors. The mother of the child was suffering  from a tremendous load of stress after giving birth and losing her son then eventually she died afterwards. That day was a disaster. There were no other relatives around to take care of everything. Even the father of the child was not there.

The body of the child was being cleaned and getting ready to be buried. But a sudden movement made the nurses create a commotion. Everyone saw the dead body of the child slowly moving. A few minutes after the child started to cry and made everyone confirmed that he is alive.

The doctors of that hospital proceeds to a bunch of tests on the child. Only to find out that the little boy was born with a tumor in his brain. Still astonished by the miracle they have seen, Dr. Clarke Walter, the director of the hospital decided to take in the child until they can cure his cancer.

The child never had a name. But everyone in the institution calls him Six. Since he was the one staying at the VIP room Six.

February 13, 2002

It is almost 10 years after Six was born. He grew up living in the white walls of the hospital. With no one to talk to but the highly intelligent doctors who's been observing him throughout his life. Other nurses were there to teach him what he should know. He was able to read and to write. He even understands medical jargon and able to explain it well. But as the years go by, the tumor in his brain is still there. The cancer that is slowly eating his life is still living inside his head.

"Ms. May? Can I go outside?"

Nurse May smiled at him as an answer. Six was able to go outside his premises once in a while. When Dr. Clarke was not around, he even talks to other patients. He was playing along withthe other kids admitted to the hospital. Six managed to live a normal life even nothing in his life is normal.

He went out to go to the in-house playground of the hospital. Playing with the other children was never a problem with Six. Most of the kids playing there were younger. And they all looked up to him as an older brother.

"Six!"

The children are thrilled to see him. Everyone's hugging and playing with him except for one girl that seems to be a new patient. That girl was just sitting alone in the corner and staring on the other kids that is playing with Six.

She looks younger than the other kids. She has a long ginger hair and a pale white skin. She was not talking to anyone until Six approached her.

"Hello there! Are you new here?"

The little girl didn't answer. She just looked at him blankly. This is new for Six. All of the kids with the same age he knew were energetic and always playing. However, this little girl is a bit odd.

"Don't you want to play with us?" He asked again.

And again, no answer.

"Just leave her alone, Six. I don't want to play with that girl."

A girl named Matilda said that and grabs Six's hand. The little girl with ginger hair was left alone. She still didn't speak of any word. But she is not leaving the playground either.

Hours passed, one by one, the children are being fetched by their parents and guardians. It was also the time for Six to go back to his room. But he saw the little girl left alone. Six approaches the little girl.

"Hey? Aren't you gonna go back to your room?" He asked.

The little girl stared blank at him and said, "I don't know the way back to my room."

Six sat down beside her. He held her left hand to see the tag around her wrist.

"Atasha. Room 209." He said reading the tag, "Come on. I'll lead you to your room."

They both stood up and held hands while walking outside the hospital's playground. Atasha was just quietly following Six. She seems to be very timid.

"Hey, how old are you?" Six asked her while they're walking.

"I'm six."

Six laugh a bit before he speaks again, "You know what they call me here? Six."

"Why?"

"Because I was the one staying at the VIP room 6. And I've been there since I was born."

"Why?"

"I don't know. They said I should be treated that's why I should stay here."

"What's your real name?"

Six was taken a back. He couldn't answer that question because he doesn't even know the answer. He just shrugged his shoulders and smiled at Atasha.

"I don't know. I don't have one. Six is all I know."

"Do you want me to give you a name?"

Six and Atasha stopped in front of room 209. Six bends down to level Atasha's height. He pats her head and he smiled again.

"Okay. Give me a name. But you have to think of it hard so that you'll come up with a great one."

Atasha nod, "Yes! I'll make sure to think of a nice name for you, Six."

"Thank you."
