~~Chapter 59~~

"Alright guys! Grab a box from Genes Room!" Gene's mum says.

I walk side by side with Gene. I feel his hand brush against mine several times.

I grab a box which I am hoping is light.

"Waaaah!" I scream as I lose balance because of the weight his box. I close my eye waiting for the impact. I feel hands around my waist. I open my eyes reluctantly. Gene looks down at me but doesn't say anything.

He stands me up again and takes the box I was holding.

"Gene?"

He stops and looks at me.

"Yeah?"

"Will Life Be The Same Without You?"

"It probably will be.." he mumbles before walking off.

I take the skull with a broken heart. I remember the first time I seen it...

♢——————Flashback——————♢

"Oh Mum this is Y/N" He replied.

"Hi" I said quietly.

"Oh I'm Emma , Gene's Mum" (A/N too lazy to look up Gene's Mums real name).she said.

"Come on Y/N" Gene said dragging me up to his room. It was very dark. I loved it.

"OMI Gene I love your room" I said hovering my hand over my mouth in awe.

"Really why?" He asked.

"It's so depressing, emo , gothic and I JUST LOVE IT" I said.

He chuckled. I blushed but quickly walked over to his desk and lifted up a Skeleton skull with a broken heart.

"Wow.....its Beautiful," I said.

"You can have it," He said.

"No....I can't!" I replied.

"No take it please," He said. "Hey are you depressed?"

"WHAT NO PFFFFFFT!" I said in defence.

I carry the ornament down the stairs.

"Where will I put this?" I asked Gene.

"I thought you took that?"

"Nope! You asked me if I was depressed and it changed the whole subject!" I laughed.

"Well keep it now!"

"Are you sure?"

"I've never been more sure in my life."

"Alright that's everything in the van!" One of the moving van people said.

And that was the cue to say goodbye...

I looked around at everyone.

"Well Everyone...this could be the end...,"

I broke into tears in that very moment.

Gene hugged me. And started petting my hair. He broke apart from me and continued talking.

"If we never meet again...just know...it's been an amazing year with all of you."

"Y/N...you're now the leader of the Shadow Knights."

I smiled at him.

We all group hugged him.

"Can I speak to you in private by my car?" I nodded my head.

I walked to his car which was only 4 seconds away from where everyone was  saying goodbye to Gene. I clutched onto the skull as tears streamed down my face.

Gene finally came over to me.

"Y/N...I have something to tell you..."

"Go on."

"I...I-I think I love y-you..."

My eyes widen. I opened my mouth to say 4 simple words 'I love you too' but nothing came out.

"I know you wouldn't like me back so...I changed my number...I made a new Snapchat, Instagram,Twitter and Facebook..."

He pressed his mouth against mine before getting in his car. He waved at us until he was only a blob in the distance...

That's when I got the courage to say...

"If you only knew...that I love you too..."
