I want to drown myself in alcohol, drink up, scream, and then puke or throw myself from a mountain top.
Or maybe just talk to a Wall and expect it to reach out and wipe my tears, saying things will be alright..
Only, Walls don't speak. They sometimes get you talking when you are in your vulnerable moment. After the moment is over though, you realize it was indeed a Wall you were talking to.
Walls are pretty hard. The more you try to hit it, the more You get hurt.
Yet the Wall remains intact, unaffected.
When all the stones you threw didn't have an effect on the Wall, how can words and tears have any effect on it?
But yeah, Walls kind of show some strength and support that you fall prey for... and even be attractive sometimes with beautiful coats of paint. But underneath the coats of paint, you find even more beautiful cracks -with depths.
And just when you get to the bottom of that deep abyss, and try to heal the crack, you get your fingers buried in its depths, unable to find your way out.
It is the end.
The Wall now doesn't know how to free the Heart, and the Heart didn't-couldn't get its fingers free from the cracks...instead, the wall proposes that we are meant to be together..and the Heart for the first time ever, believes in something, with hope in its eyes, it bore the pain and agony of being cemented within the cracks of the wall..thinking it was love.
One fine day, a painter and a builder passed by the wall. The painter thought, the wall could do with a fresh coat of paint and started to paint the Wall and make it beautiful.
But for one hindrance... The Heart. With its fingers deeply cemented to the cracks was perturbing his progress in beautifying that Wall. So he now called the builder for help. The builder came, with his hack-saw and scale in hand.
He tried to pry off the Heart from the depths of the Wall, to no avail. Then he decided to cut the Heart and its fingers with his hack-saw...and he did.
Now the crack in the wall was free from the Heart, feeling as new as ever, like a big burden had been lifted off from its shoulders. Moreover, a piece of the heart remained to fill in the gap..making it whole again.
The Wall was now Complete, whole, new.
The painter and the builder, their mission happily accomplished, went on their way.
And even the Wall, was happy to be free, and enjoyed its life as before.
And the heart now lay at the foot of The Wall. Missing half of itself, that nobody- neither a builder nor a painter can mend. It now had cracks of its own, and wounds to bleed.
And it just lay there, waiting to be picked up by someone, who can put it back where it belonged..- with the Wall.
