Astrid's POV

"Cara?" I say softly looking around her temporary apartment.

"Huh, who is it Cara's currently out" I hear a familiar voice say

"It's Astrid" I say sniffling

"Astrid?" I see Zach run out of a hallway and hug me, he wiped the tears of my cheeks and gave me a worried look

"What happened?" He says softly putting his hand on my cheek.

"Jack, he lead me on" I say slowly trying to stop crying

"I knew he was up to no good" Zach says with anger in his eyes

"How are you and Cara getting on, is it official" I say as my eyes sadden.

He sighed looking at the ground "it isn't official nor will it ever be..." he said looking anywhere but me

"Zach, I'm sorry" I say softly

"Wait what why?" He says confused

"I'm sorry for ruining your life... I never meant for Cara to do this to you" I say telling the truth

"Zach you're my best friend please leave we need to go home" I say softly and calmly

"How long were you walking Astrid?" He said worried again

"Only about four hours" I say taking a deep breath

"Are you crazy ?!" He said I shook my head

"Let's leave and now" I said wiping a tear.

"Wait let me get the girls, Autumn, April hurry up bring your bags" Zach shouts up the stairs

"Where are we headed Zach, does Cara want us to do something again" Autumn says walking down the stairs.

"No this is our escape" he said pointing to me. I force a smile and look at her.

"We can't stay here... I can't bare to see jack again let's go to..." I say slowly thinking of a place to go

"Let's go to Texas, I need to visit my parents anyway" Zach says and we all nod.

I grab some of the clothes I gave to Cara one time and placed them in my bag I grabbed my phone and some water we all walked to the airport and payed for tickets even though it was harder to get we some how managed to get some. This is it our escape...
