Kaya POV
Me and Kat finally got up and started walking.
Kat: “Can I stay at your house?”
Kaya: “Sure.”
Kat: “Kaya.”
Kaya: “Yea.”
Kat: “I wanna say I’m sorry for treating you the way I have. We were best friends and I let my jealousy get in the way.”
Kaya: “It’s okay. I’m sorry too.”
Kat: “We just something else.”
Kaya: I chuckled “We sure are.” We finally reached the house. We walked in the front door.
Dad: “Young lady you got some explaining to day!”
Mom: “Kaya, Kat, where have yall been?!”
Ray: “Kaya.” He came and hugged me. “You okay bae?”
Kaya: “Yea, I’m fine.” He kissed my cheek.
Dad: “Nigga move yo ass!” He pulled Ray back. “Young lady talk! Where have you been!?”
Kaya: “Walking. Calm down, Come on Kat.” We went up to my room.
{Christmas Day}
I went downstairs, actually happy for once.
Kaya: “Merry Christmas everyone.”
Them: “Merry Christmas.”
Ray: “You’re in a good mood I see.”
Kaya: “Yea, I actually slept good.”
Ray: “That’s good.”
Later the crew came over. We all opened gifts. While the parents were talking we stopped into the dining room.
Prod: Aight yall tomorrow is it.”
Lis: “Party time.”
Ray: “Huge combined party for me, Prod, and Ty.”
Prod: “Finally I will be 15.”
Lis: “Teen club on Roosevelt. 7 o’clock.”
Roc: “Can’t wait for this.”
Prod: “gonna be the best party ever. Don’t forget my gifts.”
Kaya:”You got yo gifts today.”
Prod: “Whatever. Remember. It’s got to be a night to remember.”
A/N: Okay, I know this chapter is super short. This is what I like to call a stalling chapter. Next one will be longer.
