Ameerah's POV
"Ameerah! Ameerah!!  Where are you?" Mama called from the kitchen.
"Na'am Mama! I'm coming" i said as i half-run towards the kitchen.
"I've been calling you..ko kin kurmance ne?" She asked angrily.
"I'm sorry Mama" i uttered abruptly.
"Quickly wash those cabbages and carrots then slice them,za muyi baqi yau" she said pointing at the kitchen-sink.
I nodded and said "Toh" simultaneously.

I am the first born in my family (sounds great...) My father is a Business Man nd My mother is a housewife as well as a caterer. Although she does not own a restaurant or any catering establishment, she offers catering services in weddings, naming ceremonies etc. She is often given the contracts for food, snacks and all catering related stuffs. I have two siblings; My brother Abdallah-11years and My sister- Zahra. I love my family to bits, We live a simple and amazing life. My mother is very strict on us (especially me...i guess) she tries her utmost best to give us a good moral upbringing based on the teachings of our beloved prophet-Muhammad (SAW) and Baba-My father provides us with all we need. That's my family.
I quickly finished what Mama told me to do in the kitchen and rushed to my room to wash myself and look presentable before the 'Baqi' arrive. I picked my phone which was on my dressing mirror beside the study-table and slide it open.
"Subhanallah...." I gasped

"Assalamu Alaik" i salaamed respectfully.
"Wa alaik salam" Abba answered smiling and continued.."Ayman ka dawo?"
"Yes Abba, barka da hutawa" i said while squatting beside him and my eyes fixed on the floor.
"Barka, ya karatu?" He asked.
"Alhamdulillah" i answered.
"Toh MashaAllah, go to your room and freshen-up, it is almost Maghrib then we will have dinner together after praying Okay!" He said in almost one breath.
"Okay Abba" i said and took the direction to my bedroom which was situated upstairs with the other bedrooms.
