*While most people think that Ichigo's name comes from the Japanese word for strawberry, the kanji for his name roughly translates to "one who protects".
*When Kubo was in elementary school, he was fascinated by fashion design, so all of the design's in Bleach are all ones that Kubo created. After Bleach came out, the shop Urahara Soten in Tokyo begin to sell shirts worn by Ichigo in the anime.
*Though Yatsutora "Chad" Sado is supposed to be of Mexican descent, the tattoo on his left shoulder reads "amore e morte", which means "love and death" in Italian.
*Rukia was originally supposed ti be the main character if the series. The series was originally suppose to be called 'snipe' and it's main character wasn't Ichigo.
*Urahara Kisuke's voice actor, Shinichiro Miki also voiced Fullmetal Alchemist's Roy Mustang and Naruto's Mizuki
*Ichigo originally was supposed to have black hair and wear glasses
