---Chapter 4---
Xavier's Pov
Narissa pulled ahead and beat me to our archery class. I smiled and walked up to her, panting. She looked especially pretty with the wind blowing her straight, brown, beautiful hair.
"Man, you're fast," I said in between breathes. Narissa smiled, still panting.
"Thank you. I think I get it from my mom," said Narissa as she walked to get a bow and arrow. I jogged up next to her, bow and arrow at hand.
"You sure you know how to-" Narissa notched 3 arrows into her bow and, without aiming, shot them all, hitting three targets, each one a bulls-eye. I stood there, mouth hung open. "H-How did you...?"
"My dad said that my mom was pretty good at archery," she said, smirking. A girl with blond hair and green eyes walked up to us, clipboard in hand.
"Excellent job! You're new here, right?" she asked Narissa. She nodded. "Wow. That was amazing, especially since you're a new-comer. I don't think any of the new-bee's have ever made bulls-eyes on their first day, not even the Apollo cabin." I got a bit taken back by the fact that children of Apollo, like me, can't shoot an arrow at bulls-eye the first time. I notched my arrow into my bow and aimed. I released it, hitting bulls-eye. The girl with blond hair clapped. "Nice job! You guys are really good at archery. I am too. Oh, sorry, forgot to introduce myself. I'm Ariana Jackson, but you can call me Reena. And you are?" I went first.
"Xavier Johnson, son of Apollo," I said, smiling.
"Narissa Di Angelo, daughter of Kristina," said Narissa, smiling as well. She thought for a moment. "Hey, by any chance, is your dad Percy Jackson?" Reena nodded.
"Why?" asked Reena.
"My dad was talking to your dad the other day," I said. "I think they were friends or something."
"Oh. That's cool."
Suddenly, an arrow came whistling pass us and hitting a rock. We all turned and found a boy with jet black hair and grey eyes. He jogged to the arrow and picked it up.
"Sorry, sis. Didn't mean to hit you guys," he said. Reena rolled her eyes.
"Luke, you really need to improve with your archery," said Reena. The boy with black hair looked at us.
"Hi. Are you guys new?" he asked. I nodded. "Oh, well, I'm Lukas Jackson, but call me Luke. Nice to meet you." Luke held out his hand and I shook it.
"Xavier Johnson."
"Narissa Di Angelo." Narissa looked a bit distracted by another person shooting an arrow. The guy had brown hair, slightly curled, and hazel eyes. He shot the arrow at bulls-eye. Narissa kept staring at him.
"Okay, I got to go. See you guys around?" Luke said before jogging back to where he was.
"I need to get back to instructing everyone else. Bye guys!" said Reena before walking to the next person shooting an arrow. I turned to Narissa.
"Who's that?" I asked. Narissa looked at me as if to notice me for the first time.
"Um, I-I think I know him, but I'm not sure-" The guys who she was staring at saw Narissa and began to jog up to us, smiling.
