The war began.... Noah was sent to fight the union

Noah is 19....
Me and Noah have been in love I sneek into the house to see him at night... we haven't tried to make babies yet we just Sleep and kiss and he holds me
Back to today the war was declared today so Noah has to go I cried as he packed his things
"Anna I'll be ok I promise I'll come back to you in one piece" he said as he hugged me "I love you Anna"
"I love you too" I said through tears
"I'll write to you."
( Mr. Walters had taught me to read when I was 11)
"Be back soon please" I begged
"As soon as the war is over" he said before kissing my lips and walking out the front door
I walked back to his room and sat on his bed hugging his pillow smelling his smell "be back soon please" I kept repeating to myself
My tears fell on to his pillow
I cried for hours
I awoke to the sight of Mr. Walters aged face crying "you're all I have left" was what I made out
He wiped his tears and left as soon as he came
I stayed in Noah's room for days with the door locked.... only 3 people had a key ,me, Noah , Mr.Walters,so every so often Mr. Walters came and brought me food that I hardly touched I felt sick just stuck.
Then one day his first letter came
