Chapter 4

Ugh... What to do? What to do? I'm locked in their storage room which reeked of dead rats. Should I call Dad? Yeah, I should. I got my iPhone, and dialed Dad's number. And I noticed there's no bars. "WHAT AM I GONNA DO NOW?!" I shouted with frustration. I tried to find the switch but it's no use. It's actually probably outside. I banged the door and shouted, "Is somebody there?! Help!!" IT'S NO USE. Sigh. I waited for thirty minutes, still no. I checked the time and it's 11:34. The party is almost over. How can I get out of here? Suddenly I remembered storage rooms have doors that led to the roof of the lower floor. I opened my phone's flashlight and tried to find that door. When I found it, I kicked and kicked it until it opened and led me to the empty dance floor. The maids who were cleaning stared at me. They were very shocked. I mouthed sorry and left. I got a taxi and rode home. As I went inside the house, I was surprised when I saw Mom and Dad on the couch. "Where have you been?!" Mom asked. "Um, from the party?" I said. Mom just sighed and said, "Okay. Honey, your dad and I had been talking and we are planning to send you in a fashion school." Mom said excitedly. Well, I'm not excited! Ugh. "But Mom!!" I tried to bargain. "No, sweetie. WE made a decision. Alright? Go on and sleep. Tomorrow you are going to the mall with me and pack." Mom said and kissing me on my forehead. "Yeah. Okay." Sigh......
