Shiro: Another school AU cuz I wanna XD

And cuz I had a horrible day at school and I wish life was as happy as some of my fanfics :'>

You hated school.

You always hated it, just not for the usual reasons. You didn't hate staying six hours every day there, nor did it bother you working all day long. It was fine.

What you hated where the students... Kids can be mean when they intend to, and they always seemed to want to be mean to you. Not that you could blame them.

You started wearing glasses during second grade, never did it occur to you it'd be troublesome. It was.

With your (h/c) hair in a ponytail, your short stature, (e/c) eyes and glasses, it seemed that your classmates decided you'd be a good target.

At first it was just names, you didn't really mind them, then it grew worst and worst.

Children would trip you, send you hurtful messages, throw your books to the fountain of the school, take your glasses and run, throw things at you and much much more...

At first you told yourself to ignore it, pretend it didn't hurt you. But it did. Everyday after school you'd cry in your room but pretend to be happy to your parents. It sucked, but you could keep going.

It was one eventful day that you couldn't take it anymore and, because of how hurt you were, you made a mistake. You cut yourself.

Three cuts was all you managed to do before your mother caught you. She has horrified and started crying uncontrollably. You decided that if it hurt her more than it helped you, you wouldn't do it anymore.

Changing school seemed like a great opportunity, for one you where actually happy about something but, once you got there, it got ruined.

A former classmate of yours – expelled because he'd bully you – now studied there and, as soon as he recognized you, he immediately decided to start it all over again.

Oddly enough, something did change.

"H-hey... Stop it..." You whisper as a tall boy takes of your glasses and raises them so you can't reach.

"If not what? You're gonna get me expelled too?" He grins before throwing the glasses across the hall.

Your eyes flicker between your glasses and his hand, which raises dangerously and then is directed to your face.

With no sound, you tightly shut your eyes and await to be slapped. A couple seconds go by and you frown in confusion.

//Shouldn't I have been slapped by now?// You timidly crack and eye open only to see a tall purple haired boy standing in front of you.

In his hand, he stopped the others fist. As you stare up in shock, a smaller hand fastly pulls you from behind Sinbad. You yelp slightly as your eyes widen, thinking another bully got you.

"Ah- I'm sorry, I won't hurt you. Are you okay?" A freckled boy with white hair asks you.

You look at him, surprised, but soon nod.

"What do you think you're doing?" The purplette asks angrily and the bully flinches.

"S-Sinbad! Nothing! I was just leaving!" He yells and runs away.

Sinbad sighs before turning to you and the albino, who was currently checking you for injuries.

"How is she, Ja'far?" The taller one asks and the pale one nods.

"She seems to be alright, though, could you go fetch her glasses?" He says while pointing at the end of the hall.

Sinbad nods and walks up to them, picks them up, and hands them back to you.

That was the first time you met Sin and Ja'far. They where nice enough to introduce you to their group of friends and, soon enough, you where friends with the king of the school and his 'generals.'

School actually became fun after that, no one bullied you anymore, you had a lot of friends and, even if it was embarrassing to admit, you had a crush too.

The years went by smoothly and, much to your happiness, you where still best friends with everyone despite the time. You all even went to the same schools.

Those who once bullied you where completely surprised of how you had changed in just a couple years. You actually ended up becoming one of the most popular girls because of, not only your looks, but because of how kind you were to others.

As you all grew older, the time to choose what you wanted to study came.

It was surprising when Sinbad started a company and, all of his 'generals' where offered a position. You where now one of his generals so you had the opportunity as well.

All of you accepted, but Ja'far and you still decided to study what you wanted to study. Law.

You two would work for Sinbad but still became lawyers. Life was fulfilling to say the least.

While working for Sinbad, your feelings for Ja'far came known and, surprisingly enough, he told you he felt the same. And thus, a long lasting couple was formed.

That's important to mention so anyone could understand today.

"(Y/n) and Ja'far are two of my closest friends, I wouldn't change anything about them" Sinbad starts.

"I hope you two are the happiest couple ever" he smiles brightly before rising his glass, everyone in the room doing the same.

"Cheers!" The crowd toasts.

With a bright smile, you turn to your side, (e/c) eyes landing on Ja'far, who stands next to you in his suit.

"Officially, hm?" You ask teasingly and he turns back to you, a blush in his cheeks and a soft smile across his lips.

"Yes, indeed" he replies before leaning closer to you and softly pecking your lips.

"I love you, (y/n)" he tells you and you giggle.

"I know, that's why I'm wearing this stupid big dress" you laugh while looking down at the bride puffy white dress.

"But I love you too" you reply and softly kiss him.

Who would have imagined? That someone who felt there was nothing in life left for her would be so immensely happy.
