I always loved how he would get nervous when I teased him, or when I put him on the spot. He's done it so many times to me. It would only be fair if I did the same.
There was many things I liked about Ash. His mysterious dark brown eyes, and his effortlessly beautiful brown hair.
The way he would sit right by me as I ranted to him about my problems.

When we would laugh the night away together in each other's arms.
I knew I liked him when he made me nervous and my heart beat faster when I saw him. I knew I loved him when I felt calmer than with him than without him.

"Elle?"

"Oh yea."

"Umm were here?" Ashton says confused.

"Sorry i was umm- thinking of what we were going to get."

"You know, I'll go with you. You make me think you'll forget."
"Wow thank you Ashton, for doubting me."
"Well I don't but lately you've been lost in thought."

"Let's go then." I say hurriedly.

"Are you sure you weren't daydreaming about me?"

"Tsk tsk, yea right." I say rolling my eyes.
"You just can't get enough of me can you?"

"You're so full of yourself."
"So you're asking to give you more of me?"

"Really Ash?"

We walk hand in hand to the grocery shop that was across Ashton's apartment.

"So what did we need again" Ashton asks persistently.
"So much for doubting me. But We needed Alfredo sauce."

"Over there." Ash points out.

"It's the original Alfredo sauce right Ash?"

"Ashton?"

"Ash!"

Ashton taps me and signals me to look behind us. But just about instantly I'm greeted with a familiar face.

"Is that-"

"Elle! I haven't seen you in forever."

And a familiar face scanned my face and my companion.

Cora, and along with her another accustomed face that made my eyes bug out.

Matthew.

"I never got to say thank you!" Cora says happily.

I shoot her a confused look as I furrow my brows which she responds to.

"Thank you for guiding Matthew and telling him how to propose to me. If it wasn't for you I don't know if we would be engaged right now"

So I guess he did take my advice.
Cora looked as happy as I've ever seen her.
I on the other hand, was exhibiting all my weaknesses.

"Look at the ring, it's a beautiful 24 carat Rose gold exclusive. It doesn't get better than this."
She says as she waves it up so close to my face I stumble back a bit.
