I woke up to see Nicholas' face staring at me.
" Good morning. " he said
" Morning. "
It's nice to see his face wake me up and greet me in the morning.
" I couldn't get used to this. " I said
" Used to what? "
" Me waking up next to you. "
" Aw. "
He put his arms around me, and I put mine around him.
" Wake up! We should go down the jewelry lane. " he said
" What? So that you could buy me more? "
" Maybe. We should walk around to pick out wedding rings. "
" This early? We just got engaged. "
" And I believe that we should plan the wedding from the rings. "
" Seriously? "
" That's how Ver did hers. "
" We're doing our wedding from your sister's experience "
" And it ended out really well. "
" Okay then. "
From the rings! Seriously?!
At about 10 am, we were in the jewelry lane.
" Where should we go? " I asked.
" I have no idea. "
" I'm hungry. "
" Me too. Wanna get croissants? "
" Yes, please. "
When we reached a small café we saw a very familiar couple.
" Holy crap. " Nicholas said
" Isn't that-"
" If you're gonna say Allana and Andrew, then we are on the right page. "
I fearlessly approached them.
" Wait, babe-" Nicholas started.
And I stood in front of Andrew and Allana.
" Holy shit. It's you. " I said
Allana has her hair shorter, not bob cut, but shoulder length, she was wearing Jackie-O style sunglasses, white button-down shirt, skinny jeans and brown ankle boots.
" Leera? " she said as she hugged me.
I hugged her.
Andrew smiled at me, then Nicholas approached us and they had a man-hug.
" What are you doing here? In Paris? " I asked
" Well, Andrew's brother wanted our help in picking out an engagement ring for his girlfriend. "
" Oh, speaking of which, " I showed her my ringed finger.
" You and Nicholas? " she said
" Yes. "
" Congratulations. Wow. "
" You and Andrew? "
" Could we take this outside? " she said
I nodded and we headed out the café.
" So, you and Andrew? "
" He became officially my boyfriend two weeks after my running. "
