The last thing I expected was to get this shitty job in the first place. But I guess beggars can't be choosers, I had a mountain of debts that needed paying and this job was the only job with a half decent salary attached. Plus it meant all expenses paid traveling around the world.
The job I has originally applied for was sound technician, however I missed that post by yards. The guy they gave it to had years of experience, makes sense I guess. The job I got was much better, I was appointed to work as their Tour Assistant.
I know it doesn't sound like much, but believe me it is. I get to work closely with the band and although it wasn't great at first, I will be the first to admit. If it wasn't for my relationship with these guys then my life could have turned out very differently indeed...and not in a good way.
