Three periods went by, and then the lunch bell rang. Matthew, Nate and Mark took their food and ate their lunch while talking about the sport event that will occur next month. Matt always hated this event because of how useless it made him feel. Being a competitive person made it hard for him to just pass by the fact that he can't participate in the event. He just had to sit where all the other students we're watching the athletic ones show their amazing work.

He felt pathetic.

"Guys,I have to ho to the library to take some research books. So I'll see you next period?" Matthew asked and Mark and Nate nodded in reply. He took his thing and left the cafeteria. He was about to walk the way that leads to the library, just when he hears screams from the other directions. Curious, Matthew walked towards the screams.

Possible scenarios went through his mind as he got closer to the source of the screams. To his surprise, None of the scenarios that he imagined were true. Right there by the lockers, was no other then the girl named Stephanie who saved him from drowning. She was pinning a girl who seemed to be scared out of her mind at that moment.

"You owe me remember? I did my part of the deal, now you have to do yours! Give me half of your money, or you won't get to come back home with all your organs in place!" Stephanie shouted while hitting the wall next to the girl making her scream some more. "O-ok here, t-that's my l-lunch money, take it." The girl stuttered as she gave her the money. "Nice doing business with you." Stephanie said and snatched the money from the girl's hands with a smile.

Steph walked down the hall, waving to a shocked Matthew who stood just by the end of the hall.

"What just happened? Stephanie Cordato, the nice girl who saved me in my moment of need, just took money from an innocent teenager. WTF?" He thought to him self.

Just as he was about to bring up theories to why she would do that, the bell of the next period rang, and the halls we're once again filled with students who are on their way to next class.

The school day was over, and Matt was in his dorm room doing English homework. After half an hour he finally finished it. He was about to play Mario kart, just when Mark and Nate rushed into the room with happy faces. "Hey Matthew, Sidney Smith is having a party at her beach house tonight. Me and Nate are going, wanna come?" Mark asked with pure joy.

"Uhh, I don't know man, parties are not my thing. Plus, I don't like drinking, smoking and I am NOT going to make out with anyone. What else can I to do in a party?" He asked with disgust. "Oh c'mon man. We both know that you'll feel sad once we have stories to share that you're not a part of. It's not fun if it's not the three of us ya know. I promise you that Mark and I will be by your side so you won't be alone. What I can't promise is that me and Mark will remain sober." Nate joked making the three of them laugh.

"Alright, alright, only because you're insisting." Matthew said with a defeated smile, making Nate and Mark give each other a hivefive.

Four hours later, Matthew, Nate and Mark made it to the party. Matthew, being the social awkward he is, followed Nate and Mark everywhere they went, even to where the punch was. (It was obvious to everyone that someone already poured vodka into the punch.) Only one hour after they arrived, Nate and mark were almost completely drunk, and matthew, who hated everything about the party, took a glass of punch just so when he'll wake up in the morning after he'll hopefully forget what happened at this place.

"I'm going to the bathroom." Matthew said loudly in an attempt to be heard over the extremely loud music. He went upstairs, trying to find the first room he can lock himself in until the end of the party. Even with the loud music, he could hear moans and groans from the rooms.

Matthew then, knowing exactly what it means, almost gagged at the thought of drunk teenagers making out on someone else's bed. He looked to the left, to see a door that was slightly open. He opened the door and walked in, only to find out he was walking in on a hot make out scene between a boy who looked like he's wasted and... Stephanie.

Matthew looked at Stephanie, who seemed drunk and was also shirtless. The hands of the boy were frozen on her bra, as if he was about to take it off of her just before Matt walked in on them. They turned around to face him, the boy looked at him with annoyance, while stephanie smiled to the sight of him. "Oh hi Matthew!" She said like a child and waved at him. She was definitely drunk.

Matthew felt then something, he didn't know what it was, but he felt... Angry. He clenched his fists and stormed out of the room. He could hear Stephanie yelling at him to wait, but he didn't stop. "What the hell was she doing? That guy clearly tried to get in her panties." He thought. After a short while, Matthew found his friends flirting with two girl that Matthew recognized as Kylie Ramirez and Morgan Want. The both of them were very popular and his friends always felt something towards the girls.

He rolled his eyes before he took them away from the conversation. "Dude, why would you do that? We we're so close to go with them to a double date." Mark said in a drunk voice. "Both of you are drunk, I only did it so you guys won't humiliate yourselves. And I also did this so we can go. This party is filled with way too many drunk people to be fun anyways." He said as he helped them walk to the exit.

It was 1 AM when he finally succeeded in putting his drunk friends to sleep. He was tired of carrying them upstairs to their room, and the punch that he drank earlier wasn't helping either, but he couldn't sleep. His mind was too busy with thoughts about Stephanie.

"She bullied a girl at lunch. She got drunk and made out with some douchebag who clearly wanted to have sex with herand then never talk to her again. She's not the stephanie I got to know from what happened. The Stephanie I know saved me from drowning and was nice enough to be with me even after. What happened?"

It took him a long time, but eventually his mind exhausted him to sleep.
