The next morning I woke up with one hell of a hangover and my body completely drenched in cold water. Since I had nothing to drink last night, you're probably wondering how I had a hangover. Well, go to sleep crying one night and tell me you don't have a headache or your eyes didn't burned when you opened them.
Oh, and my incredibly sweet brothers decided that since I hadn't let them know I was leaving the party without them last night that the best revenge would be to wake me up at 5 AM by dumping a bucket of ice water all over me. Aren't they the best?
Needless to say, after that I couldn't fall back asleep. Assuming they had been completely plastered the night before, I figured the best thing I could possibly do was make as much noise as humanly possible, just to help their hangovers.
By 7AM, we were all up and annoyed at one another. Our wonderful mother had apparently slept at her baby daddy's house last night. She had left us a message on the home phone saying that we had to start packing up our rooms. She also threw in a subtle reminder that I was grounded, so next time I better answer the phone when she calls outside off school hours. I'll just use the training with loud music excuse like always.
At least I got to hear what I missed from leaving the party at such an early time. Had I even been there for an hour?
Will was laughing so hard he was crying and I could only make out key words. Something about Chris, a hot girl, and a window. I'm sure there was plenty of alcohol involved too.
Chris reluctantly took over the story, "You know Clarissa?"
"The tall blonde cheerleader?" I say giving him a you're-so-predictable look.
"Don't judge my type of girl," he says as I roll my eyes at him. "I'm not going to continue the story if you're being rude." There's one way to get me to be quiet, threaten me with withholding embarrassing stories that can later be used in revenge.
He continues realizing he won that argument. "Well I've had a thing for Clarissa for a while now."
When did a while become two days? Chris isn't one to stay on one girl for too long.
"Well she was flirting with this other guy, looked like some jock from the other high school. I had to pull her away. Luckily there was enough space for me to slip in between them, so that's exactly what I do.
The jock was not happy about being interrupted, but stormed away anyways. I took it as a sign that I was in the clear and Clarissa started warming up to me.
She had a huge smile on her face, but for all I know now that's just because there were four guys marching up behind me."
Will's face was bright red as he burst out laughing. I knew he had been trying to hold in it through the story.
"I saw the whole thing," Will managed to say through his laughter as Chris gave him his famous death glare.
"Those four jocks, probably friends with the original jock, picked me up like I was a rock and chucked me straight out the second floor window."
I can't help but join Will in his high pitched laughter. I sure hope someone got this on camera.
"I made it out with no visible scratches or bruises, but there is one very unfortunate and very uncomfortable gash from where I landed. It hasn't seemed to stop bleeding yet, so if you'll excuse me I'm going to go to the hospital."
Will's eyes got even wider with amusement, who knew that was even possible, as he followed his brother out of the room.
With that fun fact about my brother probably needing stiches in his ass, I needed to get out of this house.
