I scream as I watch the ship sink, a feeling of helplessness envelope me wave after wave, like the rough sea we were in the middle of. My throat, coarse from all the screaming I'm doing but I don't care! My family is still on that ship and I need to save them!
"Please! Please just get us back to the ship! My family's still on there, please save them!" I scream to the guy sitting behind me as I helplessly try and paddle the boat towards the sinking ship. But to no avail, the waves of the raging sea were too strong for me to make any progress.
"We can't go back there! It's too dangerous!" The man says, remorse flowing through his every word. A tear rolls down the side of his cheek as he watches the ship go down with me.
By this time, we are out further into the ocean and further away from the sinking ship and further away from the rest of my family. I scream even louder as I try to paddle even harder to get towards the ship that is almost completely swallowed by the water, desperately trying to catch even a small glimpse of my family.
The wind starts to howl and blow even stronger, rocking the little lifeboat even more and covering the view of the ship with mist and rainwater. I can't sea anything and I start to lose hope that I'd ever get back towards the ship no matter how hard I try, because the power of the sea is far too strong.
