Mariah's POV;
It's been a while since I've been home try 2 years. My parents thought it would be a beaut idea to move to Los Angeles, California for my dads work. I on the other hand wasn't fond of the idea. I had to leave a school I was perfectly fine with and my four best mates. I've know them since we were ankle biters.
That was the hardest thing I had to do was say goodbye to Calum, Luke, Ashton, and Mikey. They went on tour a short while after I left to California, we stayed in contact while I was gone, but what they didn't know is that when I turned 18 my parents told me I could move back home to Australia because they noticed I wasn't happy.
I said yes automatically, I texted up my best mate Hanna - (she was the first person to say g'day to me when I arrived at school and we've been friends ever since) - and told her the news. She was upset at first, she's always wanted to move down under but also about the fact I was moving back.
My optimistic mind told her to ask her parents because we just finished our school and 18 as well. "We could live together in a small home, we just need to convince our parents that this is a great idea!" I exclaimed over FaceTime. She said I was crazy but went through with my idea.
We made a slideshow and explained our idea with her and my parents at the dinner table. They looked shocked at first they told us to leave so they could discuss their decision.
About and hour and a half later we heard a shout, causing us to jump because we were watching a scary movie "Girls could you come back in here!" my mum exclaimed. We looked at each other with worried faces and jumped off the couch and ran into the dinner area.
Our parents laughed causing me and Hanna to have a confused expression on our faces. It was silent for a while I was fiddling with my fingers whilst Hanna was fiddling with her torn at the knees only black skinny jeans. "Well, what do you think?" I asked with my head slightly down. "We promise to be responsible young adults." Hanna stated in a begging manner.
"AHHHHHH!!!!!" Me and Hanna pushed our chairs out from our bodies jumping up and down like little girls, when our parents said yes. "We have to start packing!" I said happily "WE GOTTA PACK!!!" Hanna repeated me and we both laughed and hugged each other, then pull apart and looked towards our parents and ran around the table and hugged them they just laughed and hugged us back.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you so so so much, we love you guys. We won't let y'all down!" Me and Hanna said in sync. "We know you won't this was a big decision to make as parents." Hanna's mum said. "We will miss you here, but we know that you both are mature young adults that are capable of living on there own." My dad states causing me and Hanna to grin heavily.
"Guess I'm going home to start packing!" Hanna says eagerly. I hug her and her parents, and my parents do the same. We wave them bye and walk back in. I thank my parents like five times more and I run up to my room and start packing.
