Laura was a young, 17 year old girl getting ready to start her senior year of high school. She always had pretty good grades, holding 1 C, with the rest being A's and B's. She never had an awesome home life after her grandmother died. She always fought with her mom and her dad was hardly there for her. But she faked her way like she was okay while she was in the public eye. Despite all of that, she never let it get in the way of her grades and what people thought of her. She was a lesbian and only ever dated two girls, both of whom were crazy. She wasn't deep into drama and often avoided it. Going into her senior year, her two main goals were to stay out out of trouble and avoid drama. She planned to carry out these goals and stick to them. This didn't seem like a hard task, until she got her schedule and went to all her classes on the first day. Most of her classes were decent, having a large amount of her friends in all of them. But there were two classes that stood out to her for different reasons.

The first one was her English class. The AP class itself wasn't that bad and the teacher wasn't bad, but she knew something was up with this teacher. She had known this since her freshman year and it was obvious. This teacher, we'll call her Kasey, would just talk directly to her in class, she stared at her all throughout the homecoming dance, and she even popped up in a dream once. She hadn't had this teacher since her freshman year, so she knew it was about to get interesting. The other class she was surprised about was her health class. It was a pretty good class with an awesome teacher. Her issue; She soon developed this insanely large crush on the teacher, who we'll call Leah. This wasn't something she had experienced before, not with this teacher at least. She had always had her "list" of those teachers, but she knew that none of them would ever actually happen. She had only met Leah once, at the school's open house. Laura knew she had liked Leah as a teacher because she had heard so many great things about her. But she sensed that something was different about this woman. Laura found herself getting lost in Leah's eyes while she was talking, never missing a beat on what she wanted to say. Laura didn't know much about Leah, but was eager to find out where she was from and what she was all about. There was just something different about her. She talked a little bit about her background and how she was from Chicago and loved sports. She told everyone about where she went to college and how she ended up at the high school. Laura was becoming more and more infatuated with Leah. She became dazed, getting lost in Leah's eyes, not even paying attention to what she was saying. Laura knew this class was about to get interesting. The entire year was about to be interesting.
