Harry and Edward are twins, they look exactly the same but they are completely different, while Harry is outgoing, charming, popular, Edward is completely the opposite, he is shy, nerdy, loves books with a great passion and just imply everything his brother isn't.
Edward wasn't that type of nerd that didn't leave the library, no he actually liked to do other things but he did prefer the library. He was good with people but only with the people he knew like Harry's friends, well the close ones. But Harry makes friends so easily and when a new kid comes he always has the need to make friends with them and obviously, present them to Edward.
"Hey Ed!" Harry yelled from across the hall, Edward looked at him and raised his eyebrows, Harry signaled him to come so Edward did, he came towards Harry and saw a completely new face "Ed, this is Niall, he is new here, Niall this is Ed, my brother" and yeah, Edward isn't that bad with new people but he is bad with people who are hot as hell.
Niall extended his hands "Hey man, it's creepy how exactly alike you two look" and Harry and Edward chuckled, Edward extended his hand "We get that sometimes" and he smiled because what else can he say and then he walked away like the coward he is.
Ed hadn't exactly told anybody he was gay, well except Liam but he doesn't count he wouldn't tell a soul about it. there was no reason for it, it's not like somebody liked him so he never actually told anybody he preferred sweaty guys to Barbie dolls. But now that Niall has appeared maybe he should stay away so nobody suspects anything.
Ed was in the library, he finally found the book he wanted, Fangirl, I know, I know, it's a girl book but it's really good! Edward was so into reading he didn't notice a guy sitting in front of him. "Hey Edward!" a chirpy voice sounded and Ed jumped and then looked at who was there "Niall? What are you doing here?" Ed asked because seriously, nobody comes to the library after school and Edward is really thankful for that.
"I was looking for a book but didn't find it, what are you reading?" Niall asked curiously, Ed (a/n sorry for changing from Ed to Edward!) turned red "Uhm uh you know, a book?" Edward said, more asked, Niall raised an eyebrow, "I can see that but what are you reading?" and Ed tried, he really did, to hide the book but Niall got it in his hands before Ed could do anything "Fngirl?" Niall raised an eyebrow again "Wasn't this the popular book between teen girls?" and he suppressed a laugh, Ed took the book from Niall and frowned "It's good though" he mumbled while pouting "You certainly are really different from your brother Ed" Niall said and Ed nodded and then remembered why Niall was here "Hey! What book are you looking for?" Ed asked, maybe he had it "The maze runner, heard it was good" and Edward nodded, it is good.
"I have it, you can borrow it if you want" Ed said playing with his fingers, Niall smiled "Yeah? Thanks man! I really appreciate it!" Niall said "But they are a bit heavy so I don't know if you want me to bring them in school o-" but Niall interrupted him "I can go to your house! Well only if you want to" Niall scratched his neck awkwardly, Ed smiled "Yeah, you can" "Great! Tomorrow because I have to go now, see ya!" and Ed could only stare and wipe his drool.
Ed had been smiling all afternoon, even hi brother was scared, he was never that happy only when he had finished his favorite book but he hadn't finished the one he started reading "Hey Ed, why so happy?" Harry said sitting in front of him in the bed, Ed blushed, was It too obvious? "no-nothing" he tried to say, key word, tried.
"Wait! Do you like a girl?" and he blushed because it's Ed and he blushes at everything and no, he didn't find a girl he found a guy and he couldn't help but smile when he thought about him "OH MY GOD YOU LIKE A GIRL" and Ed shook his head because no, ew, no offense girls.
