Enchanted by his lies
Her eyes forbade her from the truth
Disillusioned by the mask
Of a temporary youthAnd once it all washed off
She was no longer in his arms
He could only see her wrinkled skin
But not her eternal charmShe'd loved everything he was
But he'd only loved what was outside
And now that she's grown old
