'Don't leave me. Please. You are my best friend. Please stay. I am sure my mother will let you stay.'

'But my mother won't allow.'

'I'll talk to aunt and uncle. Please don't go.'

The two children were devastated as they had to leave each other. At the raw age of 8, the two children were in what adults called unconditional love. As they sat there trying to make the most of their last few moments together, Charu heard her mother call out to her.

'Charu! Come let's leave. The car has arrived.'

'Coming ma!'

Saadhana and Charu were neighbours and they were "Bestest" friends. Charu's dad got a transfer to another country and they knew that meant they would never see each other again. Both of them wondered who they would play with and with who they would watch cartoons and dress their Barbie dolls. They were both crying and their parents were trying to console them.

'Saadhana! I took their phone no. and all. You and Charu can talk regularly. She can watch the same cartoons you do. You can talk about it whenever you want. Don't cry, baby.' Saadhana's mother said to her daughter who was crying so bad.

Simultaneously, Charu was consoled by her mother. It was time for them to part ways. They said their tearful goodbyes. As Charu went further and further, Saadhana's fear of being attached crept closer and closer to her. Subconsciously, she resolved never to love someone as much as she did Charu.

Meanwhile in another country, two other friends were getting separated but for a different reason. Gautham's mother died and his father got remarried to another lady for her money and they were shifting to another country. Gautham lived a miserable life with his stepmother who never cared about him. His father also always took her side because she had the money and all his properties were in her name. Gautham's only solace was his friend Kavya. Both were 10 years old and she was the only one who could plant a smile on his face. He didn't want to leave her but had no choice. Gautham's mother had left all her property to him which was a lot. His stepmother kept him with her and provided him education because his mother had stated in her will that Gautham would inherit all of that wealth when he turned 21 and had proper education. Gautham excelled in his studies. He knew he had to survive on his own. He didn't want to leave Kavya but he did.

'Kavya. I am leaving. Bye.'

'Take care Gautham. I know your stepmother is evil. Keep it in together. I know you will make it through. Bye.'

And so was the end of another friendship. Fate had broken 2 friendships to make or break another relationship. The house vacated by Charu was given to Gautham's family. What was to become now of Gautham and Saadhana?
