I woke up around 6:30 am with my muscles aching and congested like crazy.

Oh no. Flu season.

I weakly reached over to my bedside table and opened up a drawer which revealed a box of tissues.

My nose became red from sniffling and blowing it so much.

Every year the same thing happened.

The time I felt the WORST.

I tried getting more sleep but it felt hard to breathe.

I sighed then texted Jack to bring me water and about 5 minutes later he walked in holding a glass of ice cold water.

"Ew why do you look like a tractor ran you over?"

I rolled my eyes as he handed me the glass.

I coughed on his hand then he squealed.

"THATS DISGUSTING!"

He ran out of my room to the bathroom  and I chuckled slightly which made my head ache even more.

The room was started spinning as I layed my head back on my pillow.

I took a sip then rolled over to grab more tissues.

I buried my head into my pillow and groaned.

how long is this going to last?
I thought to myself.

A few hours later I was watching netflix when I heard a knock on my door.

"come in.." I said weakly.

To my surprise Jaeden peaked through the door holding a tray of steaming chicken noodle soup and green tea.

He made a pouty face as he sat next to me on my bed.

"don't come too close or you'll get sick too" I said as I weakly giggled.

"It's okay, i'd risk anything for you." He said while smiling.

Then he leaned over and kissed my forehead.

"You're so cheesy" I whispered.

He started running his fingers through my hair which made my headache feel better.

I leaned my head on his shoulder and slowly went to sleep.

I woke up that afternoon around 3:15 pm with Jaeden laying right next to me.

He looked so adorable.

I snuggled up closer to him and put my head into his chest.

I felt him wrap his arm around me then he slowly opened his eyes.

He smiled at me and I tried to smile back but my head was throbbing like crazy.

I shut my eyes and put my hand on my forehead.

"ow" I whispered.

Jaeden frowned then slowly got up then left the room.

He came back a minute later holding two ibuprofen pills and a re-filled glass of water.

I slowly sat up and took the pills.

"How did I get so lucky.."
I quietly said as I slowly lied back down and put my head on my pillow.

Jaeden tucked the hair from my face to behind my ear.

"I have to get going, I'll come check on you tomorrow, get some more rest."

"noooo, stay with meee" I said as I pouted.

He kissed my cheek then walked out.
