i wrote this poem when i was younger. i was falling head over heels for someone and didnt know how to tell anyone. in the end, i kept it to myself and moved on. i know it sucks how no one ended up knowing but life doesnt always work out the way i want it to.

when i felt alone and used to feel blue,
i would only feel better when i thought of you.
whenever you would hug me i would feel
as mighty and strong as steel.
on the days you asked me out i said "yes"
and i always wore my favorite dress.
you make me feel better, it is true,
i go to you when i feel blue.
in life i used to only mourn
coz i was always being torn,
i need you in my life forever
so that we could be together.
you gave me from your love
and gave me wings like a dove.
i want to be with you and fly
because i dont want to be shy.
in the rain i learned to dance,
with you i stand a chance.
i want to be by your side
and soon become your bride.
i'll wear another perfect dress
and i'll be ready to say "yes".
