First Mistake

The fresh morning breeze drained into the quiet room as the muffled sound of the busy street below could be heard. The light pain from my head woke me up from my sleep as I squinted in attempt to make out my surroundings.

A room filled with rich colours of maroon red, gold and white. From the bed sheets to the tables, walls and lamps, everything was foreign to me. It was obvious that I'm not in my room. A small familiar white fabric laid on top of a red chair, that stood still next to the table topped with empty bottles of wine, which only made me realise that the rest of the my clothes were left abandoned and scattered all over the room.

Wait. If my clothes are there then that means... I looked down.

I internally scream. Panic ran over me when I found myself only to be covered by a single blanket. I attempted to get up and grab my clothes but a heavy toned arm gently suddenly wrapped around my waist, and light grunt was heard.

Ba-bump, ba-bump, ba-bump.

My heart was literally at my throat when I struggled to lift up his arms. However, my curiosity got the best of me again as I nervously turned around and for the first time, my mouth experienced a sudden lack of saliva.

Rough. That was what he looked like. A man in his late twenties with a proud straight nose, plump lips and a chiselled face. My gaze followed the waves of his dirty blonde hair that swept over the white pillow, to his neck and broad shoulders.

Thankfully, the heavy red blanket stopped me from peeking down any further than his chest.

Are those... teeth marks on his shoulders? Oh please don't tell me. Did I do that?

As I bombarded myself with questions, my eyes immediately snapped down to scan my body. I notice a series of red spots dotted here and there, as well as what seems light a teeth marks from my chest to my thighs.

My brain wakes up stunned by what has apparently taken place. A sudden sound of hissing filled the room. I practically jumped out of my skin when I heard the sound of water running in the bathroom.

Someone is taking a shower which means... there was one more?

My heart throbs violently as I attempted to unclasp myself from the man's clutches and yanked on a few clothes. Not making a single sound, I gently pulled away and tiptoed to the bathroom.

There really is another man. The tall lean shadows moves swiftly from the other side of the frosted glass, but as I tried to get a closer look, he turned off the water.

"You're awake."

A low voice, smooth like honey rolled off the man's tongue. It made me shiver.

"How 'bout a shower?"

"Uh........ no thanks, I-"

Before I could finish my sentence, a light chime echoed in the bathroom. It was a text from my manager.

"Someone important is coming today, please come as soon as possible."

"I'm sorry, I have to go!"

Immediately I dashed out the room and threw on my clothes, before the man can open the shower door.

"Wait!"

The man's voice lingered in my mind as I grabbed my bag and aimed straight out the door.

"I was a mistake. This should've never happened"

With that I dashed past the pedestrians and headed towards my office. When things couldn't get any worse. Who knew later that later that day turned out to be more terrible than I thought.
