In the days of Nights: Rake's Introduction

Chapter one: Meet Ronin Jackson

Now, I don't want any of you thinking, we'll be going to start off with a little evil, that of course comes last. A soft setting for a helpless boy, Ronin Jackson is not whom he seems to be, just a few hours ago, Ronin was mudered. An unknown killer, also killed his parents as well, now that he's dead, his soul is somewhere down below. My name is Rake, my name used to be Colt, Su, or just Gorus. Anyway, my part in this story, was to send him to heaven, but instead, I resigned to helping him solve his mysterious murder. But there are more things to it, I'll leave you to figure that out, I of course have no intention of causing any harm...yet. Me, I think of this as a game, really. In this game, there is no good or evil, there is only betrayal, lust, trust, vanity, and of course Jealousy. Humans are so fun aren't they? I mean, not to brag, but used to be king, and I loved to eat, I ate like it was my job, I got just a little fat, but died of food poisoning. Well, at least I died on a full stomach, and it was still delicious! But I'm getting ahead of myself, Ronin's Pov will come in the next one, so by all means enjoy our story of Hatred- I mean mysterious murder.

Ronin's P.O.V part one
It's 10:00 at night, my family is doing their own thing, my mom is cooking dinner, my dad is reading his books. I'm in my room, reading comic books, and drawing while listening to music. All seemed to be just a normal family night, I'm an only child, my mom was planning on giving me a little brother or sister, but dad didn't like the idea. So, for right now, as I'm listening to music, I felt uneasy, like someone or something was watching me outside. Me, I paid no attention to it, and just relaxed with my hobby. My mom opened the door, and got my attention, but tapping my shoulder.

"Come on, dinner's done." I nodded and took off my headphones, and went downstairs for dinner. To be honest, it would be nice to have a little brother or sister around, it's always quiet, I want to hear more than just my foot steps. As I got downstairs​, I sat in my usual chair, and I took my mom's hand as she said grace. After it was over, we ate in silence as usual, that untill dad tried to make small talk.

"So, how's your drawings? I never really see them, do you draw good?" 'Do I draw good?' well at least he was trying, I had to answer, me and dad never got a chance at Father-son talk.

"Yeah, I'm good at drawing, you can take a look if you want t-"

"No, just wanted to ask that's all. I'll see them another time, sorry." Dad never hangs around with me or Mom, he's always busy, and doesn't come home untill one or three in the morning. At night I could hear my mom cry a bit, but never knew why. Mom decided to make small talk with dad,

"So honey, I heard that your going away on a trip tomorrow. Where and when will you be back?" There was an awkward silence, dad looked at me, and then looked at mom.

"I'm going away for two months, and it's in New York. My boss wants me to settle a business meeting there, and confirm a contract with our business, why?" I felt a chill run down my spine as he said that, my mom looked down at her food.

"Nothing, just wanted to know, that's all." But I knew it wasn't all, mom has been off lately, and so has dad. Sometimes I feel very weird around them, they never tell me anything. They almost pretend that I'm not there, more like invisible. I finish my food first, and put my dishes in the sink full of soapy water to soak. I go upstairs, and didn't say anything, I put my headphones back on, and listen to music while finishing my picture of our family.
