Darkness of Rainbows

Ch 1

I woke up in the middle of the night we had no power for some odd reason...? Maybe there was a bad storm that I didn't hear? Grabbing a candle from the counter top and lit it.
I could only see two feet in front of me but all our flashlights currently lifeless.
The fade of the candle light seemed at least do some of the job till something insect like ran across the floor dropping the candle to floor watch the flames rise and the smoke alarms blare the hallways.
*9-1-1 whats your emergency*
Kayla: "My house just started on fire both my parents, and my little brother are inside still no sight of them coming out. I need you guys and fast. I said frantically.
9-1-1: Stay calm. Whats your address?
Kayla: "It's 7249 scot dr warren mi.
9-1-1: "We are on our way stay calm and dont go back inside."

By the time the firemen arrived the house was inflamed. I was starting to freak out when one the firemen walked over to me.
"Hey kiddo"
"Hi..."
"Well we have news..."
"Is it good or bad.?"
"Well we couldn't save your parents and your brother is on the verge of dying."
I looked at him in shock couldn't believe a word that he said out loud till they rolled the two closed gurneys into the ambulance...
"NOOOO!!"
"Hey its alright..." He tried to comfort me...
I sat in the ambulance with my little brother... The thoughts surrounding my head why did this happen to me? I dont understand... I lost my family in one day...
Where am I going to go? Whats gonna happen? How is this going to work out all fine and dandy?

My dad will never tuck me into bed at night or sing me a song ever again. He'll never see me say I do or see me graduate high school.
All my memories are gone with the house along with them i just cant believe life worked out this way id never thought twice...
I will miss my parents... I will blame myself every single day because I am the one that caused all this crap to happen...
