The darkness was like a warm, suffocating blanket. It hid your tears from the world, but forced yourself lower to the cold, hard unforgiving ground. It was one of those moments where you could see yourself from the outside, your spirit looking at the broken body, wrecked on the inside, a broken heart.

You wish for someone, anyone, to notice you, but nobody does. The world appears not to care, the inhabitants even less caring.
