↠   In this time of war, every men ought to serve their country. Indeed it was a duty to do so. If it was always perceived in the beginning as a beautiful and adventurous task, this fictional conception rapidly transformed itself as a dreadful reality. North of France is currently the theatre of merciless battles between armies.
And if men, sometimes younger than you could possibly imagine, were horrified by what was coming, women in Dunkirk, in France, in England were too. Therefore struggling to live, being scared was something that they should not show. No matter how and what would be the consequences.
