Stay Away From My Daughter

Danny: 17 years old ~ senior
Dani: 10 years old

Another night fighting ghosts. Poor Danny didn't get any sleep for the fifth day in a row. Now it was time for him to go to school.

First period was English with Mr. Lancer. Figuring he had nothing to lose, he fell asleep as class begun.

Dani had been in the Ghost Zone for a while without any company. She had Cujo to play with, but she wanted a more human (or ghost) interaction.

One day she decided to leave and explore the human world. She hadn't been there that much, but her father lives there right now, and she figured that she could see him since he hadn't been able to visit her.

And yes. I did say father. At first they had thought of each other as cousins, but as time went by, they noticed that they had a much stronger connection. They began to see each other as father and daughter. They spent as much time as possible together between the ghost fighting and Danny dealing with school. Unfortunately with the increase of attacks, Danny didn't have as much time as he wish he had to spend time with his daughter. He ha debated her to stay in his realm in the Ghost Zone because he figured that it was the safest place for her. He couldn't imagine anything happening to her.

~Flashback~

"If anything happens, anything at all, come find me. Even if it means giving up my secret, I will do anything I can to protect you. Don't hesitate. I couldn't imagine finding out that you were hurt and didn't let me know. I want to always be there to protect you."

"Okay Daddy. I'll make sure I come to you."

"I love you Princess."

"I love you too Daddy."

~flashback over~

Once Dani had made up her mind to go see Danny, she took off and exited the portal her dad had made for them that led to a secret portal inside of his closet at home that he had disguised. She flew through the portal in her ghost form and began to search for her father.

After half an hour, she realized that he must be at school. So she took off in the direction of Casper High, not noticing the Fenton RV trailing behind her.

"Freeze, Ectoplasmic Scum!" She heard screamed by her grandmother. She knew her grandparents were ghost hunters and would hurt and experiment on her if they captured her. She tried to fly faster, only to have the RV speed underneath her.

"Stop, Ghost! There is nowhere to run! We'll get you eventually! And then rip you apart, molecule by molecule." Her grandfather shouted. How did her dad put up with them all these years.

She could hear the shots of their weapons as they fired. She dodged as many as she could. Unfortunately, they had hit her. She screamed in pain. She started to slowly fall to the ground. Her energy was depleting and she realized that she had to get to her dad as quick as possible. With her weak and distracted, the Fenton's each shot her a few more times. All shots hitting her. Burns and ectoplasm with bits of blood flecks appeared.

It's now or never, she thought as she turned invisible. The Fenton's looked confused when their target that looked like Phantom had disappeared. They looked around to see if there was any trace of her.

Dani moved as quick as she could to the school. Unfortunately she was so weak that her invisibility disappeared and the Fenton's noticed her approaching the school grounds. With that they sped off to the school to capture her.

Danny had his head laying on top of his arms as he slept in Mr. Lancer's class. By now this was a reoccurring thing for Lancer to see his student sleeping, but he allowed it because he felt bad for the boy.
