Chapter 2: An Unexpected Mission

Sarah's p.o.v

"I can't believe the giant let me go. He was so much bigger than me." I said finishing my report to N.

"Sarah, I wonder if you had a run-in with him." N said looking at Elita.

"With who?"

"Sarah, I had your memories suppressed so you would not remember, but you used to be friends with some of the giants." Elita said glancing at the floor. Me? Friends with those monsters?

"When you were little, your family used to go and visit the royal families of Hoshido and Nohr. Every time you would visit, you would play with the royal children. However, King Garon of Nohr did the unthinkable one day. Your family was killed by him."

"Elita why didn't you tell me this before?"

" She didn't tell you because of how he killed them. That's when we realized the giants have an appetite for hurting us humans." N said looking down at the ground.

"We suppressed the memories because of how close you were to one particular giant. He is about the same age as you. You were really close to him." Elita said glancing at the floor.

N's p.o.v

I watched as the shock settled in on her face. I knew this would be a delicate topic.

"Sarah, you said the giant will be expecting you tomorrow to help find your so called friends. Now we can send you with a list of the names of your giant friends." I said.

"That might not be a good idea, N. We don't know if they have change and started eating or hurting humans." Anthea said entering the room.

"Sister, a least we can have her look for those two. They would never hurt her. Plus, we might be able to find out about all of the giants in the kingdoms." I responded hoping she would agree.

"Fine, you can send her, but if she dies, you are responsible."

Sarah's p.o.v

The next morning.....

"Well, here are the names of the giants you will be looking for. Good luck." N said as I started out to meet the giant.

I walked through the giant territory searching for the giant.

"There you are. I was waiting for you to arrive. Anyways, what is your friend's name?" The giant asked gently scooping me up.

"Actually, I don't remember anything about them because my memories were suppressed. Originally, I was lying about it so you'd let me go. However, I found out from my friends that my memories were suppressed by them, so I would stay away from them. My friend, N, gave me two of the names of those friends. Anyways, I'm sorry about lying and for troubling you like this." I said trembling as he brought me closer to his face.

Takumi's p.o.v

"It's okay. I understand. I'd probably be scared if you were the giant and I were your size. I still will help you find those two people." I said looking down at her. I could feel her tiny body trembling in my hands.

"Let's get started on it. What's one of the names?" I said watching her unfold a piece of paper. What I heard next was the last thing I expected.

"Leo."
