getting to know them.

"come on, we're gonna be late!" you run around the house like a maniac trying to get ready. "wait up mom, i'm coming" you rush to the car and get yourself strapped in as your mom drives to your destination.

when you arrive you see a man in his 40s and two younger guys waiting for you and your mom. "jae, this is mr kim and his two sons, jimin and taehyung" you greet them and you all walk inside the building you were stood in front of. "this will be your new home" your soon to be step father said, smiling. "jimin and taehyung will show you to your room, i want all of you to get along" you nod and trail after your new step brothers.

the house was pretty big and modern, exactly your style and it excited you, but you didn't want to show it. "this is your room" the taller boy said, holding the door open for you. you couldn't believe it "this? this is so big" you said, shocked. the boys smiled and then nodded. "we'll help you unpack everything when your bags arrive" you thanked them and watched them walk to the other end of the hall. you decided to look more around your new bedroom, the bed was queen sized and was at a comfortable height for you, behind the bed was a half wall separating the bathroom and your bed.

behind the bathroom was a bar, not like you were able to drink, but it was convenient because it had a mini fridge that you could store your snacks in, and it had a very nice luxurious view over the city.

when you had somewhat settled down, the boys knocked on your door, "our parents left already and taehyung and i were wondering if you wanted to join us for dinner" the shorter one said, putting on a jacket as taehyung smiled your way. "uhm, sure" you said, grabbing your jacket and all of you rushed out of the house.

you were sitting in the back of the car waiting for you to reach your destination. when taehyung had parked the car jimin held the car door for you so you could get out, you thanked him and caught up with taehyung. as you three were about to walk inside the restaurant, jimin's and taehyung's names were called out, you turned around and saw a group of five boys waving their hands from left to right. when you saw him you were filled with mixed emotions, you were shocked, sad, excited, mad.. it was jungkook, he was your childhood friend, your mothers were bestfriends, and still are but you and jungkook haven't spoken for a while, you were mad because he always ignored you at school, he ditched you for other things and stopped wanting to hang out with you.

jungkook pushed his way to the front of the group, ran towards you with open arms and hugged you tight, of course, you didn't return the gesture. you placed your hands on his chest and pushed him away from you. "jae, what was that for?" he looked at you wide eyed. "we're eating dinner with him?" you said making eye contact with taehyung. "yeah we were planning on it" jimin replied, rubbing the back of his neck. 'no way..' you thought to yourself. "how do you guys even know each other?" taehyung asked, resting his hands in his pockets. "we're best friends, right jae?" "no, we're not." you replied in a tired voice. jimin grabbed your wrist and pulled you away from jungkook and inside the restaurant, thank god.

as you were waiting for your food, taehyung and seokjin offered to wait for the food and allow you to find booths to sit in. only six people could sit at one big booth, so jimin told you to sit at the booth behind them. you didn't argue, as long as you didn't have to be with jungkook.

you watched as taehyung and seokjin brought the food to the six man booth and sat down. where's my food?   you watched as your food was placed in front of you and jungkook sat down across from you, you could feel anger build up inside you, but you decided to be calm. he picked up his chopsticks and
started eating, he was enjoying the food, you could tell. you picked up your fork and poked at your food. "why are you here, jungkook?" he looked sort of shocked. "i thought you were happy to see me?" he said, while chewing his food. "happy to see you?.. you ditched me everytime we made plans, and you want me to be happy to see you?" you said, looking disgusted. there was a short awkward silence. "jae, i-" he was cut off before he could finish his sentence. "guys, we need to hurry home!" taehyung yelled at you and jimin. "what- why?" you questioned. "were we not allowed to go out?". "no, we're grounded" the boys grinned and pulled you out of the restaurant and into the car. "but i didn't even get to eat my food!"
