"The sixth year?" asked Estella, nodding her head, the girl was rather lovely, slightly rude at times but Estella knew she shouldn't be annoyed, her and Theo were nothing but friends, barely even, "she's nice."

"You alright Ella?"

"Hmm - what, yes!" Estella laughed, waving Annie off and pulling her school bag strap further up her shoulder, "of course I am, I have class now though, Annie, but I'll see you later - wait, have you seen Teresa?"

"Oh yes," Annie nodded, "she was talking to her brother, James, in the courtyard just ten minutes ago!"

"Okay, great, thanks Annie!" Estella beamed, waving a hurried goodbye and making her way to the courtyard. The summer sun was still peeking out from behind the clouds of September, and Estella couldn't help but wish for the cold already.

She much preferred autumn, able to drink away her nights with hot chocolate, taking walks and crunching on the leaves as she bundled herself in the warmth of her scarves and heavy coats, or tucking herself into an isolated corner of the library with a hot chocolate the house elves had made her.

"Ella!" Teresa beamed when she spotted the girl, pulling on her arm quickly, "I haven't seen you all day, where the bloody hell have you been?!"

"Uh...class?" Estella scoffed, earning a few chuckles from the younger boys, "hello boys, I hope you're not getting my brother into trouble."

"As if we would do such thing!" Sirius exclaimed, the slightly taller boy throwing his arm around her whilst she let out a chuckle.

"You know, as much as your weird clinginess is rather irritating, Black, you're rather comfortable today," Estella noted, patting the unusual sight of a jumper thrown over him instead of the robes that he should be wearing.

"I'll keep that in mind," Sirius smirked, earning a groan from Peter who forced himself between the two, glaring at his older sister who couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"My sister mate, please keep it in your pants," Peter grumbled, shivering in disgust at the very thought, "who is also older than you."

"An older woman is what I need," Sirius waved Peter off, "I'm sure Miss Potter knows that."

"Meaning?" Teresa scoffed, her eyebrow raised as she tried to fix James' robes and hair whilst he pushed her away as best as he could.

"Meaning that if Estella is so opposed to what would be a beautiful paring-" Sirius stopped himself to throw Estella a wink, "you'd be next."

"Oh please, Estella, just fancy him, I don't need a leech in my life," Teresa teased, "besides I already fancy someone, so that's a definite no go."

"Oi, what?!" James exclaimed, pulling her hands away from the tie around his neck to look at her, "who?!"

"No one that concerns you, Jamsie poo-" Teresa stopped herself when Estella snorted, covering her mouth with her hand at the name.

"Do I know them?!"

"Very well," Estella coughed, biting her lip when Teresa's head snapped around to glare at her, both girls noticing the very quiet Remus who was hiding behind a book, "alright, Remus?" asked Estella, at first, Remus was the only one of Peter's friends that she truly tolerated, but as the years went on, she finally knew they were all alright.

Even Sirius.

"Wha- oh, yeah, I'm fine," he nodded, shrugging his shoulders.

"It's little Moony's time of the month soon," Sirius tutted, earning a very hard whack over the back of the head from Remus himself. As much as Remus hated both Estella and Teresa - especially Teresa - knowing his secret lycanthropy, he couldn't deny that he was glad that he didn't have to lie to his best friend's family.

They had found out when Estella and Peter both insisted on having some family bonding time back last year when she was in her fourth year and Remus came back looking particularly terrible one afternoon the night after the full moon.

Estella felt horrible seeing the scars on his face and the pain he was in, and Teresa was the exact same when she spotted Remus on the common room after having some sibling bonding time with James, both girls not exactly wanting to have bad relationships with their well-loved siblings.

The girls pestered Remus like crazy, making sure he was alright as best as they could and waiting on him to make sure he would get better, thinking he had been in a nasty fight or even getting bullied, he finally just came out and said the truth to let the girls know he was alright.

He was rather shocked when both girls weren't at all phased by it, but when their siblings didn't care in the slightest, he knew his surprise wasn't needed.

"Oh yeah, Sunday," Teresa frowned, patting Remus' arm completely innocently whilst the boys looked at her weirdly, "...what?"

"How'd you know it was Sunday?" asked James, sending an odd look in her direction that seemed to be between accusing and suspicious.

"I track the phases of the moon," she shrugged, "Remus likes the chocolate from Honeydukes best when the moon is a few days away, so I need to know when to get it, he's my friend too, y'know."

Estella was almost positive that she could see Remus blushing behind the book he was reading whilst James looked between his sister and his best friend, "mhmm, alright then," James grumbled, shaking his head, knowing that being the over protective younger brother wasn't going to work well.

"Oi, Stella!" Estella turned at the familiar voice, seeing Theo casually strolling towards her clad in something very different from his robes, he was wearing dark black jeans as well as the same battered converse from the sorting, the girl wondered why he hadn't been expelled yet.

"What's up, Theo?"

"Did you ask someone to ask me out?" he shoved his hands into the pockets of his jeans, seeing the look on her face.

"What, no?!" she frowned, fully turning to face him, "what the bloody hell are you talking about?!"

"This girl, Anne...Annie just came up to me and asked me to Hogsmeade," he trailed off, "can't say the multiple girls aren't a confidence-"

"Don't be an arse-"

"But it was a bit weird," he shook his head, it was rather odd to see him so confused and she was sure the boys and Teresa where watching them, "she said you told her to."

"No, she said she liked the look of you so I told her to go for it if she wanted to, I didn't tell her to ask you out," she scoffed, "she told me Coraline Barren was going to ask you to Hogsmeade on Friday, not that she was going to."

"Alright," Theo scoffed, running a hand through his hair, he practically towered over her which infuriated her, she wasn't a small person, she was taller than her brother, and mostly others - except from the boys who stood only an inch or so above her, of course, except the tree, Remus - but Theo was even taller than Remus, and it annoyed her to no end.

"You know you're going to get suspended if you don't just wear the robes," she trailed off, gesturing to his muggle clothes that didn't in the slightest meet the uniform criteria.

"Oh, I know," he waved her off, the familiar Theo smirk trailing back onto his lips, "but how am I supposed to keep up the mysterious bad boy gig if I play by the rules?"

"You got me There Mr Dawson," she finally chuckled, seeing his eyes ever so slightly brighten at her laugh, she wasn't sure if it was a trick of the light.

"I'll see you later, Estella - oh actually, meet me at the black late tonight," he smirked, sending her a wink.

"Wha- Theo!" she exclaimed, quickly grabbing his arm when he went to walk past her, "that was so completely vague, bloody hell!"

"Alright, meet me at the black lake tonight at eight," he scoffed, gently releasing his grip from her and strolling off whistling some unfamiliar tune.

She rolled her eyes as she turned back around to the boys and Teresa, seeing the looks on their faces of slight disbelief that she just had a full conversation with the mysterious knew boy, her brother looked furious which was a completely different look from the wide grin that had taken over Teresa's features.

"What?!"
