If Only ⇢ Kai x Ein

⇢ Chapter 6

The soft sound of a door closing knocked me out of my laughter.

"Is that Ein?" Jax questioned and turned his attention towards the hallway.

"I believe so. I'll go check up on him just Incase he wants to know where the bathroom is." I smiled and got up, walking towards the hallway.

"...He didn't eat his eggs." Ryder whined and turned his head towards Jax.

"Don't worry, babe, he'll be crawling back for these eggs once he starves." Jax reassured and smiled at Ryder.

"He'll be on his knees begging for these beauties." Ryder joked along and gave Jax a smug smile.

"HEAR THAT, KAI?" Jax shouted in my direction.

I just rolled my eyes after overhearing their pitiful scheme and continued walking towards Ein's room.

"KAI! OH MY IRENE ARE YOU OKAY?!" I hear Ein yell as I see him turn the corner, running towards me with a worried face.

My eyes widen and step back before he can jump at me.

To my surprise, he stops right in front of me, panting heavily but looks back at me with eager, silver eyes.

"Ein? What do you mean?" I raise my eyebrow at him.

"I smell burning! Is the house on fire?! We need to get out of here!" Ein yells again through pants.

I look at him for a second before bending over, laughing furiously.

Ein just stands their dumbfounded, looking down at me as I sink to the floor with laughter.

"Kai? Are you dying?!" Ein shouts again and tries to pick me up off the floor.

I laugh even more and attempt to push his hands away from me while shaking my head. I hold my stomach when it started hurting from laughing too much.

"I'm HAHA f- HAHAH -ine HAHA!" I manage to choke out between laughs.

"You're dying!?" Ein yells in panic again and looks down at me with wide eyes.

"What on earth is going on down here?" Jax and Ryder ask in sync and poke their heads down the hallway to see Ein and I.

"Guys! Thank Irene you're here! Kai is dying!" Ein panics

Jax and Ryder curiously look at eachother and back at Ein and I.

"How is he dying? He's just lau-"

"I smelt burning so I ran down here to make sure everyone was okay but then Kai started suffocating from the fire! I think he's dying!" Ein yells and tugs at his black hair.

Jax and Ryder look at eachother again before starting to laugh themselves, soon falling to the ground and rolling in circles.

"YOU GUYS ARE DYING TOO?! WHAT DO I DO NOW?!" Ein panics once again and falls to his knees.

Soon after my laughing tones down, and I looked over to see Ein sitting on his knees, eagerly looking at me with a worried expression.
