She could hear them talking in the cortex before she walked in. She stopped, and took a deep breath. She then walked in.
"What's up guys."
"Hey." her little brother responded." We think we came up with a plan to stop the.."
"Samuroids."
"Yeah. His whole idea by the way." Wally said pointing at Cisco.
"Ok. What's the plan?"
"They have said that they only want the flash, so why don't we give them it."
"What do you mean?"
" I mean. I wear the Flash suit, and stop them."
Wally could see the hurt in her eyes.
"Is that Ok?"
"Yeah. Totally. It's just no one has worn his suit since..."
"I know, and that's why I wanted to run it by you first."
"Yeah. Wally, sounds great."
That's when the alarm sounded. Telling them that there was an attack.
"Well. Here we go."
When her brother changed he was no longer in yellow, but in red.
"I'm coming with you."
"Iris, its not safe."
"Save it. I've heard the speech before. I promise I'll stay out of the way."
"Ok."
When they were on the street she saw her dad. Confusion on his face when he saw Barry's suit.
"Wally." She mouthed to him.
He nodded. Understanding there plan instantly.
Wally sped over to the Samuroids.
"I hear you want the Flash. Well here I am."
They looked at him. Then laughed.
"You may wear his suit, but you are not him."
Wally still went to stop them. He was thrown to the other side of the street. Cisco tried blasting them, but got he same result. Iris noticed that instead of leaving like last time they walked towards her brother and friend. They were going to kill them both. That's when she started walking towards one.
"IRIS!"
She ignored her father's yell, and walked straight up to him.
"The flash isn't here. The only chance you ever have of getting him is through me. If you really want him, leave them and take me."
"The man grabbed her shoulder and leapt into the sky.
The team walked back into the cortex. heartbroken about losing iris.
"We need to get her back."
"Dad didn't you hear. The only person that can ever get her back is Barry, and there's no way of getting him back anytime soon either."
"There is." Cisco said quietly.
"I'm the whole reason she was taken. I decided to wear the suit. I decided to go after them. I decided that she could come along. I should have said no. I should have said no. Now we've lost Barry and Iris, and there's no way of getting them back."
"There is." This time he said it loud enough for them to hear.
"What?" Joe asked.
"There is..... a way I mean."
He noticed the looks on their faces, and realized there confusion.
"I guess now is a good time to tell you."
"Tell us what?"
"I've been vibing Barry, And I think I know how to bring him back."
