Two Pretty Cure series with the most noticeable similarities are Yes! Pretty Cure 5! (GoGo!) and Smile Pretty Cure. The similarities are:
- Both Pretty Cure leaders have pigtails of some kind.
- The order of the both Pretty Cure series goes like this: Pink, Red/Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Special Cure (in this case, Milky Rose and Candy.)
- Both series have an evil version of the cures
- Reika (Chloe) and Karen are both blue cures and a part of the student council
- Yayoi (Lily) and Urara are both yellow cures and have a like to some kind of arts (Yayoi with drawing and Urara with acting.)
- Akane (Kelsey) and Rin are both a variation of red cures (with Akane being orange) and very sporty.
- Miyuki (Emily) and Nozomi are both pink cures, the leader, and very happy-go-lucky.
If you're wondering where the heck Nao (April) and Komachi are, I couldn't think of anything that they both had other than the fact that they're green cures and friends of the blue cures.
