I smiled brightly at him and watched him turn around and leave the room

"Get some sleep, if you need anything, ask us, I'll wake you up again when dinner is ready" Kai stated and walked completely out of sight, closing the door behind him.

Small candles were the only thing lighting up the room. It felt so elegant.

I looked around once again before spotting the comfortable-looking bed and gladly laid down onto it, wrapping myself in the many blankets and pillows that were on it.

Do I really deserve this? I didn't think I did..

Were my last thoughts before I drifted off into a restless slumber.

~
"You are a monster!"

"Don't ever return to our town again!"

"Dirty creatures like you deserve death!"

"Die!"

The sound of furious banging on the door and smashing of boarded up windows frightened me as I was being held tightly to my mother's chest. I could feel her heart racing.

"Stay down here, Ein, and don't say a word" My mother said and gently placed me under a trap door in the kitchen.

"Your father and I love you so much.." She cried and kissed my frightened face

I gave her one last glance. The last glance I ever saw of her crying face until she shut the trap door.

The sound of screaming, crying and yelling was all I could hear for the rest of the night until it fell silent.

I remained in the trap door until, suddenly, the door opened, revealing a light that I squinted at. I saw my beloved auntie starring at me as she picked me up from the trap door.

"I'll keep you safe." She cried and hid me under her black cape before plopping a hood over her ears and ran out of the burning town, completely out of sight.

My eyes shot open as I lifted myself off my back and sat on the bed panting.

I looked around and noticed I was still in the wooden room.

It was just a nightmare.

This wasn't the first time this flashback has played while I was asleep. It's genuinely became a nightmare for me.

I lost both my parents that day.

My auntie always told me that mum and dad died in a car crash. Until she decided to tell me the real reason once I turned 13, which was when I first had the nightmare. It wasn't easy to take in. That's when my hatred for humans started. Any human friends I had, I completely gave up on.

She told me they were killed because they were accused of biting a human and it killed him. Every werewolf in that town died that night, even if they didn't do anything wrong. The humans were selfish.

I knew my parents would never do that unless they had a good reason. It always angered me at the stupidity of those humans, bites can't simply kill anyone, human or not.
