A young girl of about 9 stood on a ship, gazing across the water. "Nice view isn't it, luv?" The girl glanced behind her at the captain. "Yes, it is." She agreed. "How long until we reach the Enchanted Forest?" "We're nearly there." Captain Hook replied. The girl narrowed her eyes. Something didn't seem right. Something about his tone... or maybe it was the look in his eyes... "Hey, Crystal!" Someone suddenly called, jerking her out of her thoughts. She turned to see Baelfire, a boy Hook had taken in. "Hi, Baelfire." She said as he walked up. Baelfire studied her for a moment. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Sure, why?" Crystal replied. He hesitated. "You just seem kind of...distracted." Crystal looked at him for a moment. She didn't know him very well, and if Hook was up to something, Baelfire could very well be in on it. "I'm fine." Suddenly she spotted trees in the distance. "Land ho!" Smee, one of Hook's men, called. Hook walked up to them. "Baelfire, go grab a jug of rum from below deck." Baelfire nodded and walked away. Crystal glanced away from the trees and saw Baelfire disappear below deck. As she was about to turn her head back to the trees, she noticed Hook nod at Smee. Smee walked over to the door that led below and locked it. Crystal's eyes widened but before she could do or say anything, a sack was thrust over her head and she felt her hands being tied behind her back. "What are you doing?!" She cried, her voice muffled by the sack. "Fulfilling my end of a deal." Hook replied. A deal? Crystal's thoughts raced. He must be giving me to whoever he made a deal with. But who would want me? And why? She was shoved to the floor. She sat there, unable to do anything but wait. A few minutes later they anchored. Someone grabbed her and pulled her up, then roughly shoved her into what she figured was a smaller boat that they would row to shore in. She felt the boat rock as someone else got in. She figured it was probably the captain. Crystal wanted to yell at the captain or punch him or...something. But she was too angry to collect her thoughts enough to yell at him, and her hands were tied behind her back. Plus, she couldn't see anything with the sack over her head. So she settled for gritting her teeth. Before long she felt the boat scrape the shore, and it rocked again as someone got out. She heard water slosh and then the boat began moving; the person was dragging it onto the shore enough that it wouldn't float away. Then the boat stopped, and she was roughly pulled upward and plopped on the ground. The person pushed her along and they walked in silence for a moment, then stopped. The person called out, "I'm here with my end of the deal!" And Crystal recognized his voice as Hook's. Then she heard some sort of poofing/whooshing noise, and then she heard another voice. "Hello, dearie." "Crocodile." Hook returned, obvious disgust and hate in his voice. Crocodile? Crystal wondered. Then the sack was pulled off her head and she suddenly realized why Hook called the man "Crocodile." The man in front of her had reptile-like skin. The crocodile man said "You must really need gold to, set aside, your vengeance." He pauses in weird places. Crystal noticed. He had a different way of talking, an...eerie way. And he did this little wave thing with his hands as talked. Who is this man? Crystal wondered. Hook gave the crocodile man a hate-filled look and said, "All I have at the moment is a sword and that can't do much to you. But don't get comfortable. I will kill you, and soon." The crocodile man did a weird little giggle. "I see." Hook said impatiently, "Now hand over the gold." The crocodile man waved his hand and suddenly a sack appeared. Crystal guessed it was full of gold. Hook grabbed it and opened it. He looked inside for a moment, then seemed satisfied and closed it. Then he shoved Crystal towards the crocodile man, who grabbed her and did that weird giggle again; then said "Goodbye, dearie." Then he snapped his fingers and suddenly a puff of red smoke appeared and engulfed the two of them.
