Prologue

My head fell back against the couch as I closed my eyes, restraining a frustrated groan from escaping from my lips. Breakups should be easier. We aren't working, bing bang boom, we're not together anymore. Across from me was Ally, my girlfriend-well, I guess ex-girlfriend-was pacing slightly. I heard her footsteps stop cold. "Don't 'whatever' me!" she shouted as she followed me to her door. "I don't wish death upon you, but I wish for reality to explode in your face, making you to stay alone for the rest of your pathetic life because you obviously don't know how to love!"

I waved over head, trudging through Ally's yard to my car to get away from her and to go home. Crazy psycho witch…
