"It's been so long buddy!" Ryder said and patted me on the back.

"Have you two been here with Kai the whole time?" I asked curiously.

I turned when I heard Kai laugh

"Yes, they've been with me since I arrived here. They came to live here with me since these lowlives had nothing better to do" Kai joked and laughed.

"They are really annoying, how did you deal with this in highschool?" Kai whispered to me, but loud enough for Jax and Ryder to hear, causing them to growl and frown playfully.

I laughed "It wasn't easy" I joked along

"Says you!" Jax and Ryder said in sync.

"This annoying meif'wa purrs in his sleep!" They both yelled causing me to laugh and Kai to blush in embarrassment.

"I-It's just in my nature, okay?!?!" Kai said, still flustered

After we all finished having our silly little moment I spoke up again.

"It's good to see you guys again, it's been so long" I said to Jax and Ryder, smiling at them.

"I know right! It would have been easier if we were sent to prison with you, unfortunately we only got suspended and put on cleaning duty in highschool since we didn't harm that Kacey kid." They snickered

"Heh, yeah.." I replied and rubbed the back of my neck

"You look very different, Ein, where's your ears and tail?" Jax asked

My eyes softened and I looked down.

"Jax you shouldn't ask that!" Ryder panicked when he saw me look upset.

"N-No it's okay.. A-Aaron.. He's the ultima werewolf.." I replied

"Ultima? I thought that was just a myth!" Ryder said in shock

"Nope.. It's not.. I tried to use Aaron to turn Aphmau into a werewolf, but instead, after our fight, he turned me human instead.. Now I'm a filthy human.." I said but tried to force a smile.

"Once a werewolf, always a werewolf." I heard Kai say quietly and smiled warmly at me

I looked over at him and smiled back

"I'm sorry, Ein. Kai did tell us the whole story, but not why you were no longer a werewolf.." Jax and Ryder said and pat me on the back again.

"It's all good.. I can eventually get over it.." I mentioned and turned to smile at them.

"Nonsense! We are going to get you turned back into a werewolf!" They both said in sync

My eyes widened and smiled at their generosity.

"That's nice of you guys to be so high spirited, but unfortunately only a ultima can turn me back into a werewolf. But you know, that can be deadly." I whispered and my smile faded.

"Is it deadly to turn from werewolf to human like you did?" Jax asked

"I don't think so, I didn't feel any pain whatsoever." I realised

"Don't worry, I have an idea in mind. It won't be easy but it should work out just fine." Ryder smiled to himself

"When have your ideas ever worked?" Kai asked and laughed

"Trust me, this one is genius." Ryder said and tried to look offended.

"Whatever" Kai rolled his eyes and looked at the oranges beside my bed.
