Alexander POV
I woke up pretty early cuase the sun wasn't even up yet. My eyes scanned the room for a clock but I reminded myself that I haven't set one up yet. I stretched out in my bed and then got up as quietly as possible to check my phone. Quietly a bent down next to the wall that was between my bed and the window. I unlocked my phone and checked the time which only made me roll my eyes. It was 5:00 in the morning and I was awake! I couldn't help but feel irritated by this. I stood up quietly and went back to my bed to lay down and attempt to go back to sleep. After what felt like hours of twisting and turning in my bed with out any luck of falling asleep I pulled myself out of the warmth of my sheets and grabbed my computer. I couldn't help but glance over at John who was peacefully sleeping on his bed. I smiled as he started to stir in his sleep as if he were having a bad dream or something. I started to type on my computer but having my luck after a few minutes I passed out on my computer.
A few hours later I felt someone nudge me awake. I opened my eyes unwillingly and turned my head to see John standing in front of my bed.
"Why?" He asked
"I- I just... I woke up early and" I yawned in between my words " I started to type...and then I fell asleep" I continued to mumble to him.
"Okay" he responded with a small laugh "Well I was wondering if you wanted to get coffee" he asked "You seem pretty tired" I just nodded my head and did my best to pull myself out of my bed.
"I'll meet you down stairs in five" I tolled him since he was already changed and ready to leave.
"Also some are my friends will be there. Is that okay?" He asked. "Cuase if not I can bring you back something or you know just like..." He started rambling on.
"No. It's fine don't worry." I responded "I'm happy to meet some new people" I assured him.
"Okay see you in five" he said happily and then made his way downstairs. Ugh I honestly hated dealing with people but he was just so cute I wanted to spend as much time with him as I could even if that meant that I would have to deal with other people too. I walked up to the dress on the other side of my bed, opposite to the window, and grabbed some clothes. I pulled on a a hoodie that was such a dark blue it almost looked black and some blue jeans. I brushed my hair then tied it up and made my way down stairs.
"Alexander!?" I heard a familiar voice shout. I turned around to see Lafeytte standing behind me. "Oh man I knew we were going to end up being friends!" He shouted at me. Oh crap I thought to myself how am I going to get out of this now it's too late.
"Hey... Lafayette right" I said trying my best not to be too award. I had bumped into Lafayette on the way to my dorm and he ended up dropping all of his books because of me which wasn't the best way to make friends. At that point in time I just started rambling apologies in French (which I speak fluently) as an effort to not have to talk with him. Well guess what he new French of ,of course, and we ended up talking anyway so my attempt failed but I guess I made a friend(I'm not going to write sentences in French and then translate them to English cuase I'm lazy so yah).
"Oui my friend but there is no need to be so formal. Call me Laf"
"Oh...um okay"
"He is so awkward I love it" he whisper shouted to john in his heavy French accent which made John laf and me blush. We ended up having a conversation over what we were taking and I found out John is taking marine biology and Laf is taking phycology (Alex is taking law obviously). A few minutes into our conversation I started to hear foot steps from the stairs behind me and as I glanced back to check it out a man much larger than me jumped off of third step of the ground yelling "HERCULES MULLIGAN!!". This earned a face palm from John.
"This is Herc" he gestured towards the man who then shook hand with me.
"Um hi I'm Alexander Hamilton but you can call me Alex. I'm Johns roommate"
"Aw so this is you hot new roommate" herc said I felt my face heat up as I glanced over at John who was also blushing.
"LETS GO GET COFFEE" he almost yelled as he dragged Herc and Laf outside towards the coffee shop. I just giggled and followed.
