52."She left"

*One day later, at the airport*

Kate's POV

Lucas and Marcus were driving me to the airport.

I had said goodbye to everyone the day before I left.

We had just arrived at the parking lot outside the airport.

Although it was early in the morning, the weather was already really hot and there was no air.

Lucas was getting my suitcase out from the back of the car while me and Marcus headed inside.

After a while I had checked in my flight and I had given my stuff to get on the plane.

I was flying in about 1 hour and the boys were sitting with me, keeping me company.

It was pretty fun, I'm not gonna lie.

Although I could sense Lucas's awkwardness the whole time. He was trying to play it cool and hang out but obviously he didn't really like that.

Marcus on the other hand was a delightful company to have.

He was smiling and talking the whole time which was the reason why I didn't even realize how fast time had past and it was time for me to get on the plane.

We heard the speaker announcing my flight, so we stood up and I was getting ready to leave.

"Goodbye guys" I said to them.

"Goodbye Kate" Lucas said to me and hugged me. I loved his hugs...

Right after him I jumped into Marcus's hug.

"Goodbye Kate. Be careful ok?" He whispered to my ear, wrapping his arms tightly around my back.

"Ok. I'll miss you" I whispered to him.

"I'll miss you too" he whispered softly to my ear, he's breath was warm.

After that we let go of each other.

"I have to go now. Bye guys" I said making a few steps back.

"Bye" they both let out at the same time and waved their hands.

I smiled to them and left.

Marcus' POV

Me and Lucas were watching her leave.

We saw her passing the gate and getting inside the plane.

I didn't take my eyes off her. Not even for one second.

It was like she was a very strong magnet, dragging my eyes on her.

I saw the gate closing.

Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder.

I turned around and saw Lucas "come on buddy let's go now"

I nodded and we went to the car.

Lucas was driving and I was sitting at the passenger seat.

On our way back to the house Lucas was talking to me about some ideas that he had for a YouTube video.

To be honest, I wasn't really hearing what he was saying.

I don't know how he did it... I mean, his girlfriend had just left the country and he seemed perfectly fine with it.

While I was fighting inside, trying to be strong.

I turned over and looked at him.

He was talking while looking at the road.

For a moment I wanted to tell him that he was the real reason why Kate had left.
