Halved

Prologue

     "Bills, bills, bills, Aunt Rose..." droned on the mutters of Grace Lee as she shuffled through the Tuesday mail. Her eyes flitted to the next letter in the stack, which was a different color than the rest. It was a baby blue rather than the bland white of the others. After reading who it was for, she smiled and shouted for the two girls in the next room.
     "Hazel! Holly! Get over here!"
     "Yes mom? What is it?" responded a pair of voices in unison, as two girls stepped into the kitchen.
     "Come see this letter. It's addressed to you guys." Mrs. Lee tore open the letter, and held it out to her daughters. Hazel took it, and held it between her and Holly as the twins skimmed through the paper. Their faces broke into broad grins once processing the information of the letter.
     Holly grabbed her sister and started jumping up and down with glee, as Hazel did the same. "Mom! Our audition was accepted for the new movie Duplicated! We're going to be stars!!"
