Stranded

Chapter 1

"Woo hoo!" I yelled out. My mom just told me that she booked a private cruise for my little sister and I.
"Madison, Kennedy, I realized that the move has been hard on you. The cruise is supposed to be a couple days long." My mom reminded me.
"We know mom and dad. Thank you so much!" I said while Kennedy and I ran over to hug them. Kennedy and I knew what we had to do. We needed to discuss what we thought the cruise would be like. We ran to my room to talk.
"Do you think there will be a Mani Peti place there? I asked excitedly.
"It's a cruise, of course there will be a Mani Peti place!" Kennedy replied.
" I hope there are mini water slide throughout the ship." I said
"That would be cool, but I have to say, keep dreaming," Kennedy said.
"You never know!" I said. I thought to myself, we need to be packing some stuff to take on our adventure.
"I am definitely going to take my phone on the cruise." I said.
"Me too." She said.
I was wondering about the trip. Where are we going? Who is the captain? Is he certified? Is the ship big? And stuff like that. I think Kennedy was too, just by the kinda nervous look in her eye.
"Don't worry, we will be fine," I assured her.
"Are you sure?" She asked me.
     "Yes, I am sure." I reassured her. I hoped she would belive me.
