⇢ Chapter 2

"You remember my name? Whew! That's surprising." He joked and walked closer to me as his tail flowed behind him.

"Hey... Last time I remember you were a werewolf...." He nosily said as he noticed my ears and tails disappearance.

"That's none of your business." I spat as I tried to back away from him, but my sore arms gave out from behind me, causing me to fall back onto the cold ground.

"I'm sorry.. Do you need help?" He asked and stayed where he was.

He actually wanted to help me? What was he even doing here? This is all so confusing.

"No." I lied and stayed on the ground.

"I plan on dying tonight, so if you don't mind, don't get in my way, meif'wa." I harshly said 

"Dying? But why? Why would you completely abandon your mission of revenge?" He asked.

My eyes widened as I heard those words leave his mouth.

"How do you know about my revenge mission?" I asked but still refused to look at him.

"Well... Forgive me and my curiosity but.." He started.

"After you got arrested and expelled from Phoenix Drop High after beating up that Kacey kid, rumours were spreading all over the school. I eventually heard the rumours and decided to ask Jax and Ryder, since I know you hung out with them all the time and they were bound to know the truth. After nagging them enough times, they eventually gave in and told me everything, and I mean everything..." Kai said, his voice going low.

"They told me the truth as to why you were such a cruel alpha, and why you wanted to toughen all the werewolves up by letting them be as rough as they want..." Kai's ears lowered and looked down.

I stayed still, eyes remaining wide. I trusted my old friends, Jax and Ryder with this information. They gave it all to a begging meif'wa!?

"It's because... Of something that happened to your parents.. I wasn't told what it was but.."

"You grew up to hate humans, and decided to make it your personal mission to train every werewolf to become a strong and powerful creature that won't get harmed by any humans.. You cared about them."

"You wanted to wait until you grew up first. But when you unexpectedly became alpha in Highschool, you thought it was your destiny, so you followed it and decided to start your mission early and train all the werewolves to be strong and let them be free with their behaviour.."

"After Jax and Ryder told me this, I instantly felt sorry for you.. I decided to join their friend group and almost completely forgot I was a meif'wa. I became a complete trouble maker, getting in trouble with the police, causing fights and beating random humans up, training with Jax and Ryder to help you if you ever returned.. and for other reasons that I regret."

"But then... My parents noticed how much I've changed into a horrible and dangerous person. They said no meif'wa should show such dishonour. I argued back with them and told them I'd rather be a werewolf, with that, they kicked me out and told me to never return... I was angry, but I never gave up and kept causing trouble.." Kai's eyes dropped to the snow covered ground.
