chapter 21

" sigh ... that was a tough one " sigh Kasumi 

" glad that everything went well " said Tsukiko 

" still Im tired .. " whined Kasumi 

" It can't be help ne " said Tsukiko 

Both Kasumi and Tsukiko just finished an 5 hours long surgery . It was under Kasumi's but she insisted that she need the assistance of Tsukiko 

" Im glad you were there to help me though , Tsukiko " 

" the pleasure is mine " said Tsukiko 

" oh mind if I chill out at your office ? It's perfect spot to slack off considering there's not many people around your department " 

" whatever you do , it at your own risk " 

" aww ..don't say that . " 

Both of them made their way to Tsukiko's office which located quite near to her lab .  

Once arrived , Kasumi quickly sat on one the chair and spin around happily 

" wee ... this is fun ! ne ne Tsukiko let's gossip " said Kasumi exitedly 

Tsukiko just chuckled at her friend's behavior . Just then , she noticed something peculiar about her work table . It was a small bouqe of roses . It was nothing extravagant . Just a cute bundle with 3 red roses .

" oh ... you got yourself some flowers . Who is it from ? " said Kasumi once she noticed Tsukiko holding the flowers in her arms 

Tsukiko noticed a small note in the middle of the bundle . She read it and let ou a small giggled 

" eh ..nani ?? let me read it ! " whine Kasumi 

Kasumi manage to grab the note and read the it 

" Oha-asa said this is cancers lucky item of the day . I happen to have extra .. The 3 roses are just coincidence ! It doesnt have any deep meaning into it nanodayo .. " said Kasumi as she read it 

" Shin-chan is so cute " said Tsukiko as she admiring the roses 

" the fact that he said it has no deep meaning means there is a dep meaning .. such tsundere-ness " sigh Kasumi as she watches Tsukiko who was still busy admiring the roses 

" 3 red roses eh .. who would have thought he can be such a cliche romantic guy ? " said Kasumi to herself

Midorima was walking through the hallway heading towards his office. 

" Yo , Shin-chan ! " appeared Takao 

" ... " 

" Hidoi yo .. At least say something ! " whine Takao 

" what is it that you want Takao ? " said Midorima 

" hehe ... nothing in particular . You know ... I heard someone send a bouqe of flowers to Tsukiko " said Takao . 

Upon that , Midorima body quickly became stiff . Takao grinned 

" .... where did you heard that? " 

" You know Shin-chan ..gossip travels fast in this hospital especially when it involves the director only and most precious daughter  ..everyone is talking about it ." 

" ... " 

" Its you wasn't it ? " grinned Takao 

" I don't know what you are talking about " said Midorima 

" you know exactly what I meant . " 

" ... "  Midorima blushed and walked away quickly 

Takao just grinned happily as he watched his friend walked away

It was another day  . Just another boring day for Kasumi . 

" ne .. Takao have you seen Tsukiko anywhere ? " said Kasumi 

" nope .. hmm .. maybe she's with Shin-chan somewhere ? " said Takao 

" mou .. midorin is stealing Tsukiko away from me ! " pouted Kasumi 

Takao just chuckled at Kasumi's reaction .

Meanwhile the said two person are currently at the rooftop . Enjoying each other company and the scenery of the city at night . 

" its so nice up here " said Tsukiko 

" ah .. " answered Midorima 

" thanks for the flowers the other day" said Tsukiko 

" It was nothing . I just happened to have extra " blushed Midorima 

" hai ..hai .. Im still happy though ..  " said Tsukiko 

" ... " Midorima looked away as if to hide his blushing face 

Moments passed . And they just enjoy their comfortable silence until Midorima breaks it 

" Tsukiko ? " 

" hmm ? what is it ? " 

" I have something to give you ... " said Midorima nervously 

" what is it ? " said Tsukiko curiously 

" could you turn around please ? " asked Midorima with a blushing face 

As Tsukiko turn around , Midorima pace a necklace around her neck . Tsukiko was surprise to see that something was a necklace . The necklace have a very simple design with a little saphire stone attached to the middle to it . 

" Shin-chan .. " Tsukiko was speachless 

" It's a momento of my promise to you . " said Midorima 

" promise .. " 

" I promise I will never let you go didn't I ? Im planning to keep it and ... ah ..hey ...  " Midorima wasn't able to finished his sentence when Tsukiko hugged him 

Tsukiko was overwhelmed with emotion that she hugged him tightly . Midorima looked down at her , surprised . 

" Tsukiko ... " 

" Shin-chan ... Thank you.. Thank you so much  " said Tsukiko 

" Tsukiko .... you're going to kill me if you sqeeze too hard .. It hurts " said Midorima letting out a small smile . Although he said it hurts , his action was the opposite as he hugged her back , wrapping her body in his arms 

"  .. Im really happy .. Im really am .. " said Tsukiko 

" so am I .. " said Midorima 

" I'll promise to make you happy so .. please stay with me and dont leave " added Midorima 

" I won't .. " said Tsukiko 

They gazed at eact other lovingly . Then, their lips meet as if they were being pulled together by a magnetic attraction . 

" Tsukiko ? " 

" hmm ? " 

" Thank you ..for entering into my life "
