Chapter 5

It has been a week since Tsukiko tranferred to Minagawa Hospital . Within that one week , she had never had a proper conversation with Midorima . When they meet , it was silence . none of them said a word and this causes both Takao and Kasumi to stressed out because both of them had to deal with the heavy atmosphere

" mou .. I can't take this anymore !! " said Takao as he messes with his own hair . 

" Why are both them acting like strangers  ?" said Kasumi 

" and they didn't broke because of some stupid lame excuse like those drama movie yet why are they making it look like one ?" said Takao 

" wait .... they broke up ?" Kasumi's eyes widened 

" Tsuki-chan didn't tell you?" asked Takao 

" well .. I thought that they were in the long distance relationship kind of stuff" 

" no.. both of them decide it was for the best" said Takao 

" what do you mean ?"

It was ten years ago , on final year of High School . It was snowing that day. 

" ne , Shin-chan ... I've decided to follow my father's dream. I'll become a doctor to make him happy." said a younger version of Tsukiko 

" soka. Omedeto" said a younger version of Midorima 

" What about you Shin-chan?" asked Tsukiko 

" I've decided long time ago that I'll be a doctor" 

" really ? thats great" 

" That's why ..I think .. it's best for us .. " Midorima biting his lip . It was a very hard decision for him yet he need to do it. It was for the best . " I think it's best for us to break up" 

A silence fill both of them . 

" I'm sorry Tsukiko " said Midorima . He knew how much he has hurt her by this point 

" I understand , Shin-chan .. the road up ahead is still long and certainly to be a doctor , there are more challenges out there . I know you're doing this because you don't want to hold me back .. and neither do I ..." tears were pouring out of her eyes 

" Tsukiko... " It hurt him to know that he was the one causing her pain 

" I don't want this to end Shin-chan .. I don't ..but .. " Tsukiko sobbed as she try wiping off her tears evethough more of them keep pouring out 

Midorima couldn't hold it longer . He embraces her . 

" Tsukiko ...Im sorry " said Midorima as he hold her in his arm 

" If in the future we were to meet again , If we were to fall in love again and fate has brought us together .. I will never let you go .." said Midorima as he was also trying his best to hide his tears

A memory that still haunts them both. A feeling a still lingers dep insid their their hearts

" I see. " said Kasumi 

" that's the story" said Takao 

" you know ..i think we need to do something for both of them . If they still have feelings for each other , they can't be avoiding it forever " said Kasumi 

" you got a plan ?" asked Takao 

"a brilliant one . and I need you help "

" count me in! "
