I'm not really sure where I'm going with this story, but if you want me to keep writing it, just let me know in the comments! I know that this is bad, but I kinda like it. This may be the only part I post though. We'll see.

I self-consciously pulled my gray sweater further down my torso. The cold kissed my fingertips, making me wince, causing a puff of hot air to form in the stale air.
I began to hum a gentle tone under my breath, hoping that none of the boys would hear. Another car drove by, pushing cold air towards me. I wrapped my arms around my frail body, giving myself a hug.
"Cold?" Jonah asked from behind me. I craned my neck slightly to look at him. His ears were a light pink thanks to the frigid air, and his blue eyes sparkled even more than usual. He wrapped his fleece covered arms around mine, squeezing me into a hug.
"Very much so." I said, feeling the heat of his warm body spread over mine.
He laughed his signature adorable laugh, and his breath materialized just in front of my shoulder. I felt him press his face into my shoulder.
"Me too."
"It's cold as hell out here!" Corbyn yelled. He had been running in place for the past few minutes trying to keep himself warm.
"Do you remember two winters ago, we had that one day where it was negative thirty degrees?" Christina asked, rubbing Corbyn's arm. "That was so cold."
I heard Corbyn let out a whimper from underneath his scarf that was covering half of his face.
"Why is it so cold?" Daniel whispered, rubbing his hands together.
Zach leaned back onto a tree trunk. His cheeks were extra rosy today, due to the cold. "Guys, I'm from Texas. I'm not used to this kind of weather."
I saw Jack push his curly, noodle hair out of his face. "Oh shut up, would you? It's not that bad."
AS IF!
"Shut up, Jack." Jonah's muffled voice came from tucked inside my shoulder. He lifted his head up, his soft hair now ruffled. "The bus is probably almost here."
My heart skipped a beat. The bus. I frantically flipped my wrist over to check my watch. 8:44.
"Guys," I said, my voice sounding unpracticed. "The bus is thirty minutes late." Everyone exchanged looks. Looks of worry, looks of disbelief, looks of confusion.
I saw Corbyn check his own watch. "Oh my God, you're right."
I felt my knees become weak as I whipped out my phone.
