"Jason, stay with me, okay?!"

Ronnie sped down the highway to the nearest hospital, the same one that Steph was at.

Matthew sat in the backseat, frantically attempting to help his friend.

Matt had already used an occlusive dressing to try and halt the bleeding.

"Ronnie, drive faster!"

"I'm going as fast as I can, Matt!"

The tires squealed as Ronnie made a sharp turn. They were almost at the hospital.

Jason's eyes were closing.

"Jason? Hey, stay awake, buddy."

Jason's eyes snapped shut.

"Jason! Hey, damn it!"

Matt shook Jason and his eyes opened slowly again. He looked dazed.

"We're here!"

The tires screeched as the car came to a stop.

Matt opened the door and jumped out of the backseat, attempting to carry Jason on his back.

However, Jason was heavier than he looked, and Matt sank under his weight.

"Help!" He wheezed.

Ronnie rushed over to Matt and helped him carry Jason into the hospital.

Matt sat in the waiting room, drumming his fingers on his legs impatiently.

Ronnie and Genevieve sat beside him, deep in thought.

A doctor appeared around the corner, and Matt jumped to his feet, excited for news about Jason.

"How is he, doc?"

"He's stable and starting to recover. He'll live."

Matt, Ronnie, and Gen whooped and high-fived each other in celebration of this good news.

"That's great! Thank you!"

The doctor's smile faded.

"Son, it seems like every time I get a new patient in here, it's you or one of your buddies. If I were you, I'd keep my nose clean and stay outta' trouble."

Matt nodded.

"Yes, sir."

The doctor left the room.

Just then, a loud Irish voice boomed from the doorway.

"Help!"

Three doctors came rushing around the corner.

Matt turned to see Sean McLoughlin standing in the doorway.

Behind him stood his girlfriend, Signe Hansen.

Jack was carrying a limp, female figure in his arms.

"Jack? What's going on?"

Jack and Signe turned towards Matt.

"Matt? Why are you here?" Jack asked.

"A friend of mine was shot in the chest, what's going on here?"

"I went over to Mark's to discuss a collab. He was nowhere in sight, and I found Amy on the floor, her wrists cut."

Matt's stomach dropped.

Amy was placed on a stretcher while Matt listened to the doctors.

"BPM is 3, we may have already lost her."
