One Shot-

Bang Bang Screams Thunder

A moonlight silver haired man with flower soft eyes slept peacefully in his bed. He wore a blood red long sleeve and a pair of black silk pants. his sheets were gold and crimson. his name was Ivan Briginski. Belonging to him was a Neko, or a cat-boy. Now Ivan was in his room, asleep, after a long day of work as the representative of Russia. He was resting calmly and relaxing obliviously against the , once guessed, calming rain, when he heard heart retching screaming. He was vaguely awoken, thinking it was one his servants having a nightmare or his cat, but half believing this because he remembered that he let his servants go home for the holidays. and after all, they don't stay at his house any more. And his neko wasn't one to scream if he had a nightmare. He would usually just crawl into bed with him. But he couldn't feel his presence in the room. Just to be sure he called out for him.

"Yoa-Yoa? Are you alright?" When there was no answer, Ivan sat up and looked around for his neko, who was usually 24/7 by his bed side. But said neko was no where in site. He got out of bed and started to look around for his lost neko. There was another sound of thunder. A shrill but childish scream echoed through Ivan's Mansion. Ivan frowned.

"Yao-Yoa. where are you hiding?" He whispered to himself. them he followed the scream hastily, worrying for the safety of his beloved Neko. he looked down the steps and into the living area. No one was there. He continues and looked until he was in the kitchen. No luck.

"Where could my sweet little kitten have gone." He checked in every area of his home, until he was face to face with the basement. He highly doubted that his neko would be in there. But it did appear to be where the screaming was coming from. he opened the door and began to enter the large dungeon like basement.

"Yao-Yoa, are you here da?" but there was no response to his calls. He was beginning to get anxious.

"Yao-Yoa, please answer me." Ivan was afraid of nothing. Well, except loosing his poor cat-boy. His worry was increasing then he heard the rain begin to get louder. the screaming began to get worse and worse as the rain progressed. then finally he looked in the corner of the room. Curled up in a little ball was his Neko. A small Chinese neko, hair black as night and eyes just as black. but now they were filled with tears. in his iris was a swirl of violet and on the back of his head was a single streak of silver. not from age but for another reason, showing that he was owned by Ivan. When Ivan got him it was like a contract that needed to be filled. His colors naturally changed colors vaguely but to suit his owner's colors. He wore a silk red and gold night gown version of a cheongsam. The design was roses and cherry blossoms. He had a gentle, feminine look to him. He looked like a Porcelain doll. Ivan walked closer to Yao, quietly not to startle him. Yao whined, his silky black tail wrapped around him and his ears flattened to his head.

"Yao-Yao, are you alright, Da? What's wrong my прекрасный Подсолнух." Yao looked at him. His eyes full of tears.

"I-I'm sorry Iwan." Ivan held the neko tightly. Yoa's tail subconsciously wrapped around Ivan's waist tightly. He was so scared. Then Ivan though why.

"Yao-Yao, are you scared of thunder?" Yao nodded. Ivan sighed and carried Yao to their room.

"You should tell me next time Yao-Yao. Then we wont be doing this again, da?" Yao nodded and laid against Ivan, sobbing gently. Then, right before he fell asleep again, Ivan heard a voice.

Thank you Iwan." Ivan smiled at his small Neko. He held him close, feeling his heart beat against his chest.

"Your welcome Yao-Yao. I will always be here for you. Next time please tell me about these thing so that I may be able to protect you in the future. I love you so much Yao-Yao, an you don't have to hide things from me. Good night, My sweet neko." Yao nodded and yawned, curling into the warmth that is his owner. They both fell asleep into a blissful oblivion, or so they thought. Lurking in the shadows was a girl standing there. Inside her eyes were filled with hatred for the Neko, laying with the one that she wanted so badly. In her hand, was a knife, hungry for blood. She walked over to them, leaning over the bed. A crack of lightning and thunder was drawn from the sky, trying to warn the sleeping lovers of their so soon tragic demise awaiting them. This girl held the knife in her hand and drew it to the man of her dream's Lover. She held it closely, and leaned down, whispering in his ear.

"If i can't have him, then he can't have you." then she slit his throat. He awoke, clawing at her and thrashing around, he woke Ivan up and the Russian was greeted to the sight of his lover dying. he ripped some cloth, and hastily, but not harshly, tied him together. then called for the servants. The woman stood there in the window, Angry and hurt. Finally a servant had called a doctor. He rushed into the room with needle and thread, sewing Two's throat. Yao looked at his owner with sad eyes, once he was wrapped and stitched up. Ivan looked at him with such worried eyes. Yao mouthed out something to him.

'I am sorry Iwan. So sorry. I caused you so much trouble and now your sheets are stained red.' Ivan's eyes widened and his heart clenched.

"Нет Нет, Yao. You did nothing wrong da? Please. It wasn't your fault." They looked at one another, smiled and curled together, falling asleep.
